Description

Season after season, the 1550 Arctix Youth Snow Bib Overalls serve as an outstanding value priced snow bib and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable comfort suspenders provide the perfect fit with elasticized side gussets for maximum motion. The boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

Bought these a size bigger than I needed for my 7yr old. We live in the PNW and are under snow or rain for a good portion of the year. My kiddo utilizes their snow clothing from October through March (and sometimes April). So I try to buy peices that will hold up over time and accommodate a growth spurt or two. These have been great thus far. I packed them away for the summer a few weeks ago now and at last wear they were still fitting perfectly on their smallest setting. So I feel confident that we'll be able to utilize them again come fall/winter. They have been used in snow, heavy rain and yes even mud. They keep the kiddo dry and very warm. Absolutely recommend! My son has enjoyed these for three years(hard three years). Hunting season, fall play, sledding, and even some hot summer mud days(don't recommend). These things have been through alot and still have not torn. We bought them when he was about 5 and we are coming up on his 8th birthday! They adjust in the shoulders for years of fun! My daughter loves these. She constantly complains about things being uncomfortable for her when it comes to clothes. Her discomforts often revolve around socks elastic bands, tightness, etc. she likes to snowboard but isn’t a fan of the apparel that is required. She had complained about nearly everything involved except these pants. She puts them on and I never hear word one about it again. She feels warm, they don’t ride up and there are pockets for her ski pass an other things she sometimes likes to pack (lipglosss I guess). These are great quality snow pants! My son loves them and the fit is perfect. He plays hard and they are pretty durable, no rips or anything yet after a full season in Maine winter. These would last for next season as well but he will likely grow out of them.

I purchased these snow pants for my son towards the end of winter after he lost a different pair. He typically wears a size 7 and I purchased a size small in these snow pants, they fit great! They’ve kept him warm and dry during a Wisconsin winter. They are not super durable however as I’ve already had to stitch up the knees from him playing outside at recess. I have tall kids so it’s nice to find snow pants that are long enough!!
