Features

  • 4-IN-1 CUTTING MODES: Supports plate cutting, expanded-metal cutting, rust/paint removal, and plasma gouging giving you one machine for almost any metal job. Expanded-metal mode keeps a steady arc on mesh materials for cleaner, uninterrupted cuts. Rust-clean mode removes corrosion and coatings without grinding, saving time and reducing cleanup. Gouging mode removes old welds, fixes defects, and prepares bevels for faster, easier repairs. (Replace nozzle when using gouging mode.)
  • NON-HF BLOWBACK PILOT ARC: Uses a non-high-frequency blowback start, eliminating electromagnetic interference common in HF machines and keeping electronics safe, perfect for home garages or workshop use, offering safer operation for both users and bystanders. Provides up to 60A on 220V for smooth, clean cuts on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and moreup to 1-1/16"" (28mm). Cutting range: 1216mm @110V, 2028mm @220V. Current display: 2035A (110V), 2060A (220V). An external air compressor is required (sold separately).
  • UPGRADED CUTTING TORCH: The upgraded IPT60 torch delivers strong arc starting and cutting performance on rough, painted, rusty, or dirty surfaces. Its non-contact pilot arc reduces energy use and electrode wear, giving smoother, more precise cuts and up to 2 longer consumable life vs AG60. Includes two 0.9 mm and two 1.1 mm nozzles for better cut quality on 110V/220Vready to use right out of the box. External air compressor required (sold separately).
  • SMART AIR PRESSURE MONITORINGEquipped with a smart air pressure system, it continuously monitors real-time pressure and displays it on the screen. If pressure drops below 30 PSI, the machine triggers an E80 warning; if it rises above 80 PSI, it shows E81 to prevent unsafe operation. Before cutting, you can switch to pressure-detection mode to ensure the pressure stays within the recommended range. Recommended pressure: 110V: 55 PSI | 220V: 5075 PSI.

  • A lot of cutting power in such a small footprint A lot of cutting power in such a small footprint
Size: CUT60 Non-HF Color: Red
If you do any frequent cutting in steel or need to cut complex shapes, a plasma cutter is your friend. If you already have an air compressor, it's an easy choice to make and you'll be slicing through steel in no time. I already had a plasma cutter but it was a Cut-30. I had no issues at all with it but wanted a little more power as I started encountering thicker pieces of material. Almost everything I cut is mild steel and I already have a 50a 220v receptive wired in for this to use. I couldn't believe this when I unboxed it. It was actually smaller than my Cut-30. This box came with EVERYTHING. You got the plasma cutter itself, a 12' long 60-amp rated torch, 110v adapter, air hose, grounding cable, extra consumables, shoulder strap, instructions, stickers, and a partridge in a pear tree. Not that last one but it's for a lot! Everything feels sturdy; like it'll last you. The housing is metal with plastic knobs and a digital screen. It's easier to read in person than you see here in pictures. It's not overly complex and confusing for a novice but it's also got some features to it! I have got to try out the grid cutting mode! The torch has a swivel at the base which made it comfortable to use while wearing gloves. The 12' length helps me keep the torch line far away from what I'm cutting but still makes it easy to work around the material I'm cutting. Setup was even more simple than the instructions make it out to be. They reference a gauge to check for air pressure but it's on the front LED panel. You can regulate it through your compressor and through the regulator on the cutter. There's even a moisture filter attached on the air inlet. I already had 1/4" quick connector hoses for my compressor which made connection a breeze. I use a 22-gallon compressor and it worked really well. The torch connections are also simple: there's only one way to connect everything. After that, you're just setting the amps you want to use. I used the 2T setting to start and you can see how my cuts progressed. The cuts got much cleaner as I got it dialed in. I wasn't used to the stand off on the torch but quickly got used to it. My Cut-30 didn't have one as you usually press those right against the material. This one starts with the trigger press and just cuts. You have to get used to the start angle, cutting angle, and drag speed. Once you do, you're cutting and hammering off the dross to the finish line. They include a shoulder strap. I wouldn't use it but they include it! This unit really surprised me. My old Cut-30 wouldn't even think of handling thicker steel. This is such a step up for me. I have to get used to how differently the angle effects my cut now and I can do more with something of the same size. I'm definitely reaching for this now more than an angle grinder to make my cuts. I'll save the angle grinder for cleanup. If you're familiar with using a plasma cutter or you just want one, you can't go wrong here. I'm very happy with this. ... show more

  • Extremely Capable Plasma Cutter With Professional Features and Excellent Value
Size: CUT60 Non-HF Color: Red
I’ve been using this plasma cutter for a while now specifically to give it a fair test before reviewing it, and overall I’ve been very impressed with what ARCCAPTAIN managed to pack into this machine. It’s much more than a basic hobby cutter. The combination of pilot arc cutting, expanded metal mode, gouging capability, and rust/paint removal makes it surprisingly versatile for fabrication, repair work, automotive projects, and general shop use. One of the first things I noticed was how compact and lightweight the unit is compared to many plasma cutters with similar output. It’s easy to move around the shop or transport to another location without feeling like you’re hauling industrial equipment. The smaller footprint also makes it easier to fit onto a welding cart or crowded workbench without taking over the entire space. The cutting speed is excellent once you get the amperage and air pressure dialed in correctly. On thinner steel especially, it moves through material quickly and smoothly with very little resistance. Even on thicker material using 220V, the machine maintains a stable arc and cuts efficiently without feeling underpowered. The non-HF blowback pilot arc system is one of the standout features. Arc starts are consistent and smooth, even on rusty or painted material, and I really appreciate not having the electromagnetic interference issues that sometimes come with HF-start machines. I’ve used it around other electronics in the shop without problems. The IPT60 torch feels like a noticeable upgrade over cheaper entry-level torches. Consumable life has been good so far, and the machine cuts cleanly enough that cleanup afterward is minimal on properly set material. I also like how well the torch and cable setup fit naturally in hand during longer sessions—it doesn’t feel overly bulky or awkward while maneuvering around tighter cuts or fabrication work. The expanded metal mode genuinely works well and makes cutting mesh and irregular surfaces much less frustrating. Gouging mode was another pleasant surprise—it’s not something you normally expect to get at this price point, but it has been useful for removing welds and cleaning up mistakes without dragging out additional tools. The air pressure monitoring system is also very helpful, especially if you’re moving between compressors or dialing in settings for different materials. Power output feels strong on 220V. I’ve mainly used it on steel plate and heavier fabrication work, and it has handled thicker material confidently with smooth cuts and stable arc behavior. The large LED display is bright and easy to read from across the shop, and the controls are straightforward enough that setup doesn’t become a chore. The machine is feature-rich enough that newer users may spend some time learning the various modes and settings before fully taking advantage of everything it can do. It also benefits heavily from having a quality air compressor and proper air drying setup—performance noticeably improves with cleaner, stable airflow. The included consumables are decent for getting started, but serious users will probably want to stock extras fairly quickly, especially if using gouging mode often. Overall, this feels like a serious step above many entry-level plasma cutters while still remaining reasonably affordable. After extended testing, I’d absolutely recommend it for garage fabrication, automotive work, farm repairs, metal art, and small shop environments. It’s versatile, fast, compact, and loaded with features that make me interested in trying more fabrication and welding equipment in this category. ... show more

  • The Perfect Melding Of Value & Performance
Size: CUT60 Non-HF Color: Red
I ordered this plasma cutter from ARCCAPTAIN to aid in cutting steel to patch a rotted tunnel on an old Ski Doo snowmobile I picked up over the winter. The days of manually having to cut steel with a reciprocating saw and an angle grinder are no more. Needless to say, this plasma cutter from ARCCAPTAIN made quick work of the job, and I was almost effortlessly able to cut each of my required pieces. What surprised me most right out of the gate was the small footprint of this unit. I expected it to be much bigger, but it is actually very compact. I was able to set it up right on top of my workbench. With a footprint so small, you would think build quality would take a hit. That is not the case here. Everything in this set is of excellent build quality, including the plasma cutter, as well as the cutting torch, included accessories, and spare consumables. Setup of the unit was super simple as it comes mostly assembled. All I had to do was hook up the cutting torch and connect my air compressor. It was easy to hook up my 14 gallon air compressor thanks to the easily accessible and standard, thank goodness, air fitting at the back of the unit. Once that was squared away, I was basically ready to start cutting. Operation of the plasma cutter is super simple thanks to the intuitive and cleanly laid out control panel. There is also a nifty chart with a bunch of presets for you to reference depending on what types of material you are working with. Using the chart and the control knob, it is super quick and easy to dial in your settings. As someone who is not super knowledgeable in this field, this is greatly appreciated. The plasma cutter has different modes which can be preset according to the setup of the torch. In my case, my goal was to cut, and this machine can cut. Seriously. This little machine packs a punch, even on 110 volts. It cut through my sheet metal of and for my tunnel like butter, and I even cut some 3/8” raw cold rolled steel for another project I was working on with no trouble at all. I did not experience any issues with overheating, and at no point did the machine cut out, stop, or trip a breaker. I have used budget welders in the past, and this was always an issue. Not the case here. All in all, I would consider this to be an excellent plasma cutter for the price. If anything else, it is certainly a great foray into the world of plasma cutting for your average DIYer like myself. This machine performed absolutely flawlessly for me, and it is without a doubt built to last. One thing is for certain, I would take this plasma cutter over an angle grinder or a reciprocating saw any day. At least now, I will get to keep my hearing. This machine allowed me to complete my project quickly and efficiently, and I am grateful for that. If you are in need of a quality plasma cutter and aren’t looking to break the bank, this unit from ARCCAPTAIN is an excellent choice. I would highly recommend it. ... show more
