Provides up to 60A on 220V for smooth, clean cuts on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and moreup to 1-1/16" (28mm). Cutting range: 1216mm @110V, 2028mm @220V. Current display: 2035A (110V), 2060A (220V). An external air compressor is required (sold separately).
- SMART AIR PRESSURE MONITORINGEquipped with a smart air pressure system, it continuously monitors real-time pressure and displays it on the screen. If pressure drops below 30 PSI, the machine triggers an E80 warning; if it rises above 80 PSI, it shows E81 to prevent unsafe operation. Before cutting, you can switch to pressure-detection mode to ensure the pressure stays within the recommended range. Recommended pressure: 110V: 55 PSI | 220V: 5075 PSI.
- QUICK 1/4" NPT CONNECTOR: Features a pre-installed, metal-cased air filter with a quick-connect 1/4" NPT fittingready to use right out of the box. Built-in safety protections cover overload, overheat, and overcurrent conditions with clear error codes, plus an IGBT low-voltage warning. Rugged construction ensures reliable, long-term performance. - PA/PT & 2T/4T FUNCTION: Supports PA (Pilot Arc) with adjustable arc time (210s) for cutting expanded metal and extending consumable life. PT (Postflow) time adjustable 515s (recommended ~8s) to cool the torch. 2T/4T modes allow hands-free operation: 2T press and hold for short or precise cuts; 4T press once to start, again to stop, reducing hand fatigue for long, continuous, or large cuts.

Did some reviews of plasma cutters after using one on my friends. I didn’t want to spend a lot on a product that I would probably be used a few times a month and happened to come across an advertisement for the arccaptain 50. The reviews on YouTube were very positive, the price was right, so decided to take the plunge. When I received the cutter I was surprised how light and compact it was. I tried it on 110 and it work good until my air compressor kicked on. I had to order an adapter for the 220 since my 220 outlet is the old 3 blade type. Tried on 220 and was surprised on how well it cut. My friend stopped by and was so impressed that he ordered him one to replace his 15yr old cutter. Over all I am very well pleased with it and hopefully it will give me years of service.

This was my first Arccaptain purchase and my first plasma cutter. While this is a smaller machine, it did well and cut through materials as advertised. I was skeptical when I first unboxed the unit. It didn't seem as though it would have what it took to cut through thicker material. I was pleasantly surprised. The one issue that I did have was trying to cut holes in the 'field' of a piece of thick steel. Without drilling a starter hole first was required. Attempts to 'ease into it' and create a hole from nothing did not work out very well. This shortcoming isn't different from other plasma cutter

The media could not be loaded. This is a wonderful beginner plasma cutter. I was skeptical until doing some research and finding out that some are contact start the surface you are cutting has to be bare metal. This one can cut painted and rusted metal which is exactly what I needed. It’s easy to set up and worked perfectly first try. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great beginner plasma cutter at a great price!

WOW would be an understatement! Grabbed this little plasma cutter, because I got tired of the angle grinder. Should have bought this one a LONG time ago. Cut through an 8-inch .128 bar stock like absolute butter using 240v at 30 amps, and without the mess! Definitely for the garage mechanic or automotive work. Absolute must have for metal work! Pairs very nicely with my Hobart Mig welder. Incredibly happy!

Do not buy this unit. The customer support for this product is by far the worst I have ever received. I purchased this unit in Jan of 2024 and used it for some light sheet metal cutting 3x using a standard 120v outlet. The first 3x it worked perfect. The 4th time all I could get it to do was spark. I did multiple things to trouble shoot it, including checking the outlet volts , putting a new tip on, etc. I even consulted my son who has a certification in welding. After no success I reached out by email, to the company for product support. I was advised to check the tip, which I had already done, but did it again. Then to check my air pressure and adjust, no change. They then they advised me to adjust my settings. Again I did and sent a email I was compliant. Then they requested I video the machine just sparking as I adjusted the settings and send it to them. Again I did it, remember I had only used it like 3x for light sheet metal, there was no good reason it just quit. Then I was advised to check my outlet voltage and again send a video. After going back and forth for an extensive period of time, never receiving a call and being treated like I never picked up a welder or plasma cutter, I finally sent them an email about supporting their product better and either fixing or exchanging the unit and never heard back. I finally gave up. Let the non working unit sit broken in the garage for a year and a half and pitched it in the garbage.
