    • Great set for occasional use
I purchased this to carry in my vehicle in the event I needed to make repairs on the go. I was really pleasantly surprised when they arrived as they look and feel like substantial wrenches. The price was my main criteria when purchasing, and this set was both inexpensive and contained both Metric and SAE wrenches with a wide selection of both. I've ended up using the wrenches 8-10 times since receiving and they fit as they are supposed to and have performed just fine. I'm not sure how they'd hold up to heavy daily use, but that wasn't my objective. The only down side I could find was 1) The roll up bag is a little flimsy and you need to be certain that the flap is over the wrench heads or they can easily fall out when rolled up and 2) The string to tie up the roll tore off after the 2nd use. It's not a bit deal though as I ended up just putting a bungy cord tie around it. I'd definitely recommend these for a spare / emergency set in the car, and for occasional use just about anywhere. ... show more

I was looking to fill out the tools for my motorhome when I came across these, so I ordered them. Here is what I found: 1. There is a very nice range of both metric and standard wrenches which are perfect for my motorhome. The wrenches all feel good in the hand, have no fought spots, are well marked, and hold onto bolts without problems. 2. The thickness of the material appears to be standard and the tools have a nice heft to them. I would not say they are either heavier or lighter and a good set of wrenches. 3. The wrap that these come in is well built and clearly marked for size and type. It easily rolls into a small package that fits neatly into my tool box. See attached picture. 4. While my motorhome is basically SAE, there are devices in my motorhome, including the generator, that are metric. So, having both sets is a good thing. These do exactly what I want and I love the organization as well as the fact that they are NOT noisy in the tool box as I drive down the road. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a decent set of metric and SAE wrenches in a nice organization wrap. ... show more

    • A lot of wrenches with few skips in a roll up bag.
Arcan is known in my house as the company that makes good jacks at a reasonable price. I have a 19-year-old Arcan jack that goes really low but reaches really high and at the same time is rated for 3 1/2 tons. The wrench set is pretty complete. There are skips, most noticeably, at first glance, it skips 16mm. However, this set goes pretty small and pretty large all while being able to be rolled up into a nice little package. Unfolded, this set is pretty large. Arcan seems to be a good mix of quality at a decent price. These are not ratcheting wrenches though. One side is a box wrench and the other is open-ended. (old school) Many sets these days are ratcheting but they rarely include metric and standard and rarely do they have such large sizes. That being said, the large size wrenches are pretty short. You had either better be pretty strong and young or have something to put on them for extra torque. ... show more

The tool roll is the nicest part of the set. The finish on this is OK. The fit on fasteners is good. You are going to have difficulty spreading the open end wrenches on these. They seem well hardened. They are well marked and the sizes are easy to read. It is a pretty complete set of most common sizes of both metric and SAE. ... show more

    • very good set of wrenches that come in a very sturdy and easy to access wraparound canvas container
These are very sturdy yet light weight wrenches. I was able to unscrew bolts that were pretty tightly screwed in and then was able to screw them back again after doing some work. Another great thing about this wrench set is the canvas container it comes in. When you need a wrench you just unwrap the canvas choose the wrench you need from the clearly labeled pockets that each wrench sits in. No more fumbling through a mountain of wrenches to find the one you need! ... show more
