I pulled the trigger and bought this, even though I bought an NBA Jam countercade that didn't work. Luckily this one did. The emulator is superb and works very well the great arcade feel controls. I do have one caveat. This does not have a light up marquee. I knew this from researching it through 1up. This post needs to be changed. Because it isn't true. It never has been advertised as having one. Although all of the other countercades I own do have light up marquees the lack of one on this didn't deter me from buying it. These games are timeless beat em ups and have been a flagstaff for all others to follow. If you are a TMNT fan this is a must have. If you don't have the room for full size arcade 1up cabinets These countercades are a great alternative. I first want to start off by saying I’m reading a lot of peoples reviews and I’m completely shocked if you grew up playing this game this is exactly what you should appreciate and remember from days past! People rate things on the shipping and everything else you’re supposed to rate the product! So, as for the product it is phenomenal came well packaged fast delivery worked perfectly! No, there is no light up. They definitely should correct that wording, but it does not take away from the beauty of this machine. It is a must have for ninja turtle fans! Definitely would’ve loved to have dual stick for two players however, I am happy with this one because I cannot find the other one! This countercade is AWESOME!Mine shipped packaged very well consisting of it being inside a heavy duty,thick box which is also,inside of another box!It arrived safe and sound and....Beautiful!Looks great,solid wood construction,great screen and loud speaker with bass!Full size controls that feel and work great.If like me,you don't have a room for full size arcade cabinets but want to have your own home arcade room......then these countercades are the way to go.So far I have this one and the Mortal kombat one and both are equally awesome.I have every game console,from 80s to present day like switch,ps5 and Xbox and Love them but,there is just something about playing on an actual arcade that just can not be replicated on console or handheld.Love it and they look cool aswell.I feel like a kid again playing the arcades in pizza shops and malls back in the 80s and 90s.Very happy with my purchase ... show more

My one criticism: the marquee isn’t lit. This isn’t really a problem, per se; however, it was advertised to have a lot marquee which made it mildly disappointing when it was a solid wood marquee. Besides that, the games play as you remember them, unless you never played these in the 90’s, in which case they play as you would expect. The controls feel great and responsive. That screen though. *chef kiss*. It’s an 8” screen that is bright with vivid colors and no washout. The screen remains beautiful from any angle. A personal preference that I really like is the classic arcade shape in lieu of the shark fin design of older Countercade cabinets. ... show more

This thing is so cool. The volume goes up super loud. I honestly forgot how hard this game is lol it's so fun to play. The image quality is great and it's the perfect size to sit on any table or desk. Game quality is top notch
