The media could not be loaded. I got this for my basement man cave because I used to play Blitz all the time growing up. I’m glad I did! The box arrived and was left on my doorstep- my only gripe is the outside of the packaging has all the flashy graphics telling exactly what it is. It was fine because I was home, but with how early it was dropped off if I was at work, it would have sat at my front door all day in full view of everyone driving by. The box is fairly heavy, so be sure to get some help moving it. Inside the box all of the components were well protected with styrofoam and individually wrapped in plastic. The cabinet takes a while to assemble- be sure to set an hour or two aside to get it together. Assembly wasn’t hard- the instructions are very clear and have good pictures, it is just tedious getting all the different pieces together. The major electronic components (screen, speaker assembly, and control deck) are all preassembled, and the wiring consists of plugging in a few connections between all those components. Once together, the cabinet feels solid and stands a little over 5’ tall. There are controls for four players, but the screen (a bright, good quality LCD or something similar) is fairly small so you’d be pretty crowded with four around it unless they were kids. Two adults can play just fine though. I like the fake coin slots in the front and illuminated logo at the top of the cabinet- it feels like a real machine. Once turning on, I was surprised by the quality of the screen and sound. Both are great and it definitely brought me back in time to staying up all night with friends playing Blitz! Be sure to connect to wifi to get the latest updates (getting your password in can be laborious- you’re using the joystick and buttons on the machine). The update took a few minutes and I was off and running (literally). I’m quite happy with the purchase and am looking forward to the other cabinet I ordered. If you loved playing Blitz growing up, definitely consider getting this machine! ... show more

My son and I play this every night before bed. It's a great game, and very competitive. It is the perfect blend of nostalgic reminiscence of a simpler time, and pass time for teenagers and their parents who likely grew up in the transition age of game play as I did. Was so excited to receive this arcade! I have a few other 1Ups but this is by far my favorite. Playing Blitz on this thing is a lot of fun. It looks great with the light up marquee and the false coin mech.

I love this machine. Screen is 17 inch and a little small, but being on a pedestal it makes up for it. Pretty easy to put together, time consuming but pretty easy. Game play is just like I remember as a kid playing on the Playstation and N64! Well worth the money spent! I just need to get the stools to complete it! ... show more

I’ve been wanting to get this cabinet for a long while. I was in my late teens when this game originally came out in the 90s. I was just waiting for it to go on sale before I purchased this cabinet. I gave it a four star review because I haven’t played any of the online features. I’ve only been playing against friends or the computer. If you’re familiar with the game, then you should know they took out late hits. I personally don’t care because the game is still fun to play. At first I thought the joysticks felt overly stiff, but when I actually played the game, they felt perfect. The speakers are the best thing about this cabinet. They sound really good and have noticeable bass to it. It also has a wide range volume setting that you can fine-tune to your liking. We purchased this for my eight year old Christmas present. Let’s be real it was more for his dad than anyone. It is pretty cool because you can play by yourself or with up to four players. It is street from our childhood so we have a lot of old memories when we play this. The kids can play this for ever we have this in the game room, so I love knowing exactly what he’s playing instead of heading off in his room with some game boy. The only negative is this took several hours to assemble. Everything was really heavy and we are now tech geniuses but we’re able to figure it out. Just make sure you give yourself ample amount of time to install this. Our kids were blown away with this gift and hope it will last for many years to come. ... show more

Product arrived as expected, in new condition. The box was a little chewed up but it came across the country and is very large/heavy. The damage to the packaging had no effect on the contents of the box nor is the fault of the seller. I had a couple questions prior to ordering and the seller answered very quickly which was appreciated. If you have never purchased one of these arcades, assembly is required but isn't difficult. The instructions are very easy to follow and a screw driver is the only tool needed. You can assemble on your own, but an extra set of hands if available is definitely helpful. I have two full-size and two counter size arcades from Arcade 1Up and love them all. Highly recommended for retro gamers who dreamed of having their own arcade as a kid. ... show more
