This was a super fast assembly and everything you'd hope for! Love the light up top, good controls, and pretty sturdy on the pedestal. Pro tip: be sure to peel the film off monitor's edges before screwing into base of you'll have little film bits around the screws.

It was hard to discern from the reviews because they seem to combine many different cabinets on the page, so let me be clear: the Marquee is lit. I love this cabinet...the artwork is beautiful and, with the riser, it doesn't feel like a smaller scale cabinet. As someone who spent a lot of hours in arcades playing this game, the control yoke is dead on. Assembly is very ikea-ish with a few bits that would be better with a second person (I did it myself...Wife was watching The Handmaid's Tale), but from box to play it took about an hour, the most of which was spent pulling out the pieces from the boxes and laying them out. I weep a little every time I walk into the room and see this. 7 Year Old me would really be proud of me.

When I was about 12 I used to go to a pool and they had the original Star Wars arcade game. I played it until I was out of quarters. Now, I can play it all the time. It was easy to put together, and with the stand, I don't have to sit to play it.

Before midichlorians, before Jar Jar, before Disney, before whatever The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker were supposed to be...there was a time when Star Wars was about a farm boy's hero adventure in a larger galaxy. I played this arcade game at a local movie theater when I was a kid. It gave me the movie experience in a time before streaming and watching movies at home. The Arcade1up version faithfully provides the same experience. The vector graphics emulation is well done for Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back, while the Return of Jedi version is perfect too. This is a great addition to any original trilogy fan who wishes Star Wars still had the same soul of the movies from the 1980's.

This Arcade1Up Star Wars cabinet is truly amazing. It is truly a 3/4 scale replica of the original arcade cabinet. The cabinet and riser art are amazing, the light up Marquee is brilliant (and disregard the people saying that it does not come with a lit Marquee). A definite must for any Star Wars / Arcade enthusiast.

This made my husband's birthday! It's EXACTLY like the arcade game he grew up playing, especially the voices and sound effects. It was a bit difficult to put together. He didn't put it on top of the riser because he keeps it next to his home office desk, and it's the perfect height (without riser) to play from his desk chair.
