I sent one of my climbers up a palm tree with this new flip line thinking that it would be nice small and sleek when I first looked at it out of the box it appeared to be well made, it seemed like the rope was a high quality anti-friction rope Everything seemed to be well made. Then I sent one of my climbers up a tree with it and on the first flip he put his weight against it and the rope separated out of the coupler where it's cramped together up against the multi-action carabiner. My climber slipped and was lucky to not be high in the air when this happened. I don't know if this was just a random manufacturing air and this was the only one that this would happen to but I wouldn't put another person's life on the line with this rope ever again. These kind of products need to be durable and well made and like I said at first appearance it seems like that was the case with this until it had some weight up against it and the rope literally removed itself from the cramp. The rope trade as if it had snapped and the bare metal wire was visible about 8 in ... show more
