These lanyards have been great and quite handy for multiple uses. I bring a few of them on my travels. I usually bring one that connects my waterbottle to my backpack (I've left my water bottle at the gate before another passenger noticed I had left it behind) as well as various other things like my hats and cell phone that I want tethered to myself or my backpack. I have used it to tether my hat and link the other end to the tag of my rash guard when I'm out on the water to secure it in the ill fated moments when just the right gust of wind knocks it off my head. I can definitely say, it's saved me from losing various things. Small, compact, convenient, and durable. I greatly recommend them!

Well the steel wire part of this is good and I love the retractable use of this product, The carabiner is laughably light weight. I truly think it is a 10 Lb carabiner, hardly "heavy duty". Home depot has multiple sizes of carabiners and I quickly swapped out these "heavy duty" 10 Lb carabiners for 150 Lb ones. The lobster clip at the other end is fine. More heavy weight than the carabiner and able to hold pliers, knife, reels, or other small wares from falling into the big drink. 4 stars.

They work okay. Theyre light weight, but not very durable. Especially the small carabineer, it'll break on you if you pull on it even a little too hard. Some of them are easy to use, some of the clips get stuck and it's quite hard to get them open. They're worth it if you need something quick, but they cant hold too much, and might break with extended use.

I bought these thinking I needed only a couple of them to secure some of my fishing tackle for kayaking but ended up using all of them to secure other things in my kayak - including my cellphone! I attached a small key ring in the hole for a wrist strap on the cellphone and attached this lanyard. It’s perfect to ensure my phone is secure in the kayak, around the pool and even when I’m working in the yard doing chores. I think I need more - the uses are endless!

This thing is so small its crazy. You can see in the picture it's no bigger than the 9v battery. What in the heck do I use these for that I won't have to keep an eye on so the thing doesn't break!?!? I mainly got these for small things in my kayak. SOOOO I tested them by hooking them to my pliers. It stretches these so tight that I was nervous they were either gonna great the cord or the clamps. And that was me being gentle! If I ever drop something larger over I'm sure they'll break. These things are to small to even have on a bag for looks... Another cheap Amazon garbage item!
