Being made of metal and thick and hard enough wood for the shelves, this stand feels very sturdy and durable. I like that the size allows for it to hold as many of our kitchen appliances as it can, plus extra things on the more narrow top shelves which helps free up some cabinet space. One thing I do dislike is that the metal beams that go underneath each shelf across the center lengthwise (to hold them on) do get in the way of being able to fit things that otherwise would fit on the shelves. I feel that if the shelves were instead attached to the metal at the backs, sides and corners, this wouldn't have to be in the way, but maybe this adds stability... But overall it still can fit a good amount of stuff and the third shelf from the bottom has enough space before the first narrower shelf above it to be able to fit those taller appliances on. We have a toaster oven and a 5 quart kitchen aid stand mixer on that shelf. ... show more

I used the larger shelf as a coffee bar and the shelf above to hold cups. It looks sooo good. I am actually ordering a second one for the other side. First off I'd like to say do not believe any of those reviews that talk about the screws not lining up. One of the first things the instructions tell you is to hand screw them in and then line up the other side and hand screw it in and then you can tighten it down. By doing that I did not have one screw that I could not line up. Secondly this thing came out beautiful. It feels very sturdy it was not hard to put together although I would say two people would have made it a little easier. The instructions are very clear and everything is labeled as you can see in the pictures. They also sent all of the hardware needed to do the job although I did use my mini drill that I can set to a low amount where once it reaches that amount per pressure it just stops tightening. And it made it very easy for me to put this together. I had no problems putting it together. The wood is very sturdy the metal is very sturdy and as you can see with the shelves full it will hold a lot. It took me forever to find one this big because all the rest of them are too short to stick my microwave and my toaster on the big shelf together. This is the only one out of about 50 products I found that was 4 ft long All the rest of them are around 51 in or 53 in. It's very stable and I've had no issues so far it is holding everything very well. I would definitely most definitely recommend this product and it is getting five stars and if I could give it more I would. I have bought a lot of stuff on Amazon and I have to say that this is one of the more prouder ones that I could be proud of. If something should ever happen or I need another one if I move and I could use it I will definitely buy from this company again. This is so perfect for my kitchen. It's strong and sturdy. Easy to assemble. I use this for my smaller appliances, ie: microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker. I bought this for work, so I won't bother returning it as no one will care that many of the shelf corners were damaged in shipment. Small spots where the plastic was broken, exposing the fiber board. Nice bakers rack , somewhat easy to put together. Seems pretty stable and sturdy. Holds a lot of kitchen items. The only thing I was disappointed about was my Kitchen Aid mixer us too tall for any of the shelves.

Bought this to store all my art supplies that had spilled over from the 3 shelve bookcase I was using. Although one person can build this, as I did, it would have gone faster if I had an extra set of hands. But it was easy to assemble. I like how each shelf has a bar unde it to give it support.
