I had a very specific size and grass pile height I wanted for my outdoor patio, and this was the perfect option! It came rolled up, laid flat when unrolled, didn’t smell or have any issues. It did have a bit of shedding but that’s to be expected. I just vacuumed it up when I laid it out flat. I was making a custom dog run on my patio I rent and it’s perfect because it has a few holes where the water/urine would pass out of. Because I specifically wanted this for my dog, and because it’s for a balcony, I put in the proper underlay down and laid the grass out - it’s perfect! I love it I measured the area before I ordered it I was so excited. I put it down and it’s almost 2 feet shorter than advertised which sucks because now I have to find a piece to cover the 2 feet that was short, other than that the product is very nice. We have a condo in the city and no real ‘yard’ - worked great for two adults, but then we added a little and realized it wasn’t super kid-friendly. We have a paver patio but with a crawler/wobbly walker we needed something easier for falls and tumbles (and she won’t wear shoes) that would be easy to maintain and not look super cheap. This works really really well and has allowed us to be outside this summer without as much worry. For some reason I didn’t realize I could have purchased one large piece and bought three little ‘runs’ to put together, but it still works well. Jsut know there are tons of size options if you scroll far enough 😅 it is not super tall ‘grass’ so I don’t know how well it would hold up to pets or consistent rough wear, but for a one year old crawling g around I think it will do the trick.
