After using no more than 10 times the leash broke in small waves at the point where the leash is connected to the ankle cuff. I have never had another leash break at that connection. Considering that others in these reviews had the same thing happen I suspect it’s a combination of bad design and cheap construction ( I bought it because it was cheap, go figure). Apparently the company will send a replacement but I can’t see myself paddling out with another one installed and feeling confident it won’t happen again. The product needs to be improved.

The leash snapped on me within a couple months of surfing mostly everyday which is about the average life span of a leash for me. I emailed the company and they immediately sent me a replacement and were super friendly about it.

I like this leash. It’s good quality for the price, and it came in the mail quickly. The Velcro is really strong, and it came with the tie to connect the leash to my surf board.

The media could not be loaded. The set screw that holds the ankle cuff to the leash was not threaded into any functional female receiver. This leash is not safe for anyone to use! I check all my leashes and this was not going to be used for surf but for downwinding on my outrigger canoe. This would have failed. You definitely get what you pay for but any piece of safety gear made by this company should be 100% avoided!
