I have had big 55 gallon fish tanks that have lasted years. I recently decided to have a tank again for my office but not as big. So I looked on amazon and decided on purchasing this 20 gallon tank. It did take longer to arrive but was packed expertly and nice heavy glass not like some pet stores that you would find. Heavy thick glass and well bonded/welded contruction at the seams! I was impressed with the tank kit and Wish I had started with this size 7 years ago, but I could not afford the size a the prices offered at that time. Today's reward has been a bonus for both aquatic pets and human guardians. Would recommend this product.

The product dimensions aren’t accurate which sucks cause I measured and wanted a tank with the size listed in the description so that was a bit disappointing. However the tank is still solid and is still a bigger tank for our hermit crabs so it works and looks good. Packaging was decent, they had thick corner foam pieces to help prevent breaking. The tank wasn’t broken or cracked with no scratches but they could have wrapped the glass walls better than just wrapping it once around with the saran wrap. holds up the weight of the sand . Sadly wish it came with a lid and that has been hard to find because the lid I’ll have to settle for will either be a little bigger or too small. I don't understand why when selling tanks they don’t come standard with a lid. Even if you don’t need the lid it would be good to have for a back up but to each their own. Hope this helps someone ... show more

Very well made fish tank and very reasonably priced. Came well packed. Note that in the picture the seams are almost clear. What I got (and what other reviewers are saying they received) is a tank with solid black seams. It looks good but if you are looking for a fish tank with clear ones this is not it. Solid tank! It was packaged very well for shipping. There is some black silicone visible as some other customers noted, and it isn't entirely uniform around the tank (some smaller strings look almost like cracks). I'm happy with the tank for functionality, and am confident it will last me for years and survive a few relocations. ... show more

The product in the picture is not the product you will receive. The product in the picture shows clear silicon but I received black silicon like a similar review I found after I had already ordered it. You can get the same tank in store for $35.
