I really like the Aquaphor Baby Healing Balm Stick. The formula works very well for protecting and soothing my baby’s delicate skin. It is convenient, mess-free, and much easier to carry than a traditional ointment container. The balm applies smoothly and helps with dry areas, irritation, and sensitive skin. I appreciate that it is easy to use and doesn’t require getting product on my fingers, which makes it very practical for quick applications. My only complaint is the shape of the stick. I wish it had a more ergonomic design because the balm is a little too thick, making it harder to apply precisely on smaller areas like a baby’s face or small irritated spots. Overall, it is a great-quality product with an effective formula, but the applicator design could be improved to make application easier and more comfortable. ... show more

I wanted to LOVE this balm stick with every fiber of my being since my child has a very sensitive hiney and we use the bumbo spatula and aquaphor from a jar for literally every diaper change. I figured this stick, although extra cost by far compared to the jar in terms of oz, was going to really speed up the diaper changing process and convenience. Although I love the concept, the ease of use was actually fairly difficult to get the ointment to roll onto baby. Also, and maybe just me, but I’m worried that the balm will end up lowering somehow into the canister and the plastic will just scrape along baby’s bottom? I don’t notice any unusual smell in comparison to other aquaphor products so that’s a plus! In summary, this ended up not being as amazing as I was hoping or as easy to apply as I was expecting. I will be keeping it in our diaper bag as it’s smaller and takes up less space, but for our daily at-home diaper changes I will continue to have to use the baby spatula and tub of aquaphor. ... show more
