The media could not be loaded. My betta loves it! I got this this morning and settled it. However this filter is too strong for him that the hates this, I have to turn it off. I might need to turn it off. But I like this tank so much. Easy to set up, and easy to turn it on. Appearance is so good. Maybe for playful betta, this tank would be a little bit small. I love it!

The media could not be loaded. I had my doubts buying this little micro tank, but decided for only $28 why not, it was the closest size that would fit my little shelf. Alot of the reviews made the light look very blue, but it gives off a nice light. I am pretty pleased so far with it. Outside of a betta, shrimp, and snails it won't be big enough. Alot of the reviews were saying that the water flow was too strong, but I added some extra filter polishing media into the center of the rear filter and the flow is pretty perfect for the little shrimps I had just aquired. I would honestky consider this possibly too small for a betta, but you may be able to get away with this for a baby betta till uograding to something larger. I added a banana for scale. I added some plants from my main tank to see if the light is sufficient enough to foster any growth. Time will tell. But honestly, for something that fits almost perfectly on this shelf it looks really nice. My favorite part is that it is entirely powered by a usb, I plugged it straight into my tv, no problems. I cannot hear it at all, it is super quiet. A little tricky to aquascape due to the narrow size of the fish area. If they made this size 2 inches taller and maybe 4 inches longer, it would be absolutely perfect for my needs. If you have the room for something larger you can certainly find something within this price range. I also like the rounded corners, they are sleek. I could see this being a cute little shrimp setup for a kid. The clips are fine on mine, I didn't have any issues, they falk out when setting up so you may have to pop 'em back in, however once setup they hold well.

I honestly won’t even waste my money on this product. It didn’t even last me like the filter has to be manually like turn back on, and if you don’t do it, it just doesn’t work at all so you better not never plug it out once you plug it in the first time because it’ll just be a whole cat and mouse type ofBS. JUST DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I HATE THIS FILTER. I HATE THIS TANK SO MUCH.

I don’t know if my fish is weak or the filter is to strong but as soon as I put him in it sucked him against the wall, he’s okay now I took the filter out. Also they advertise a 1.5 gallon but the divider for the filter and electric stuff was a third of the tank so I took out the divider and filter because I don’t want my fish to die.

It was a little weird putting together because the directions didn’t explain much but, it’s a nice tank. The flow on the filter is a bit strong for the size of the tank. I would definitely recommend something else though because it is it’s really small even for one fish.

The aquarium itself is nice and works well for my gold fish, with a sleek design and helpful LED light. However, the purpose of the sponge wasn't clearly explained, which was a bit confusing. Also, my goldfish keeps getting stuck in the filter section even though there is a divider, so I’ve had to figure out how to gently scoop it out. Overall, a good starter kit with a couple of minor quirks.
