I used this to refresh the water tank on my motorhome. Give the whole system a nice cleanse. Added half a container, flushed water through system. Then eventually took the motorhome for a short drive to get a good flush going. Then after wards flushed out the tank and system, and put clean water back in. Unless you have a VERY ugly and visible problem (smell, slime, ...) to begin with, it is always hard to know exactly how well this type of products works. Whether you have accomplished anything or not. But everything here seemed fine. Water clean-smelling and taste well afterwards. But then, I also have multiple layers of filtering systems on both filling and using my water tank. But no nasty stuff left behind. No biological slime in the filters, I replaced right after. Only pure, clean H2O coming from the tanks, so all is well. Hence, I will give this product the full benefit of the doubt. Recommended.

I received my Aquamarine Water Solutions – Water Tank Deep Cleaner and Deodorizer today and am so happy to have received a product made in the USA !!. I will be adding it to my fresh water tank as a refresher. We are full time Rv'ers and sit for long periods of a time in one place. The wife likes to keep a full fresh water tank just in case the campground has a water issue and we lose water, which has happened on occasion. I do periodically use the water in the tank via our pump and replace it with fresh water but adding this treatment to the tank will not hurt. Since we are living in our RV we use all of our water system and faucets regularly with city water so I will only be treating my fresh water tank. Reading the instructions on the bottle where it is instructing you to remove you faucet screens, eti I feel that this treatment is more for a fresh water system that has been neglected for a long period of time and the lines need to be shocked.

When I saw this I just saw the word shock and assumed it was for my pool or hot tub. This is actually fresh water shock for boating and fresh water systems.

My RV tank didn't smell all that bad, but I thought I'd give this product a try as my RV is 20 years old. I always have water filters on my water intake, so maybe that's why I don't get a bad smell from my water. But, I used the product and the water smelled fine. What else can you say? No photos to include as not sure what I would take a picture of. Gave four stars as I didn't notice anything really different in my water tank.

The product is price but you do not use a lot so it should last a long time. I like that it is a USA product so I trust it a little more that that it will do what it says. With bleach and water you know what you have but I am not a fan because to me it leaves a slight aftertaste. So I usually get a product like this for my RV. And yes I do drink the water from my holding tank so I want it to be sanitized. I like the product and hope it disinfects as well as advertised.

This water tank treatment is easy to use and the directions are clear and easy to follow. If you are planning to do any "rustic" camping and are going to use your fresh water (closed system) for cooking, etc., then you will want to ensure that your water tank is sanitary before you leave. Use this product to flush and clean the tank.

We have a 1989 sailboat that we are restoring. It sat for almost three years before we bought it. The water holding tank was DISGUSTING! We have cleaned the tank multiple times but are still fearful of the water after having such rank smell coming from the faucets. Since putting in this water treatment the water has no smell and is clear. We are going to let it sit and see if anything changes, but so far so good.
