Aqua-Magic VI is a permanent RV toilet. Space saving design allows for the closest possible mounting to the wall. Foot flush positioned for minimal floor space interference. Available in high or low profiles to fit your specific space requirements. High profile offers taller seating height for maximum comfort. ADA compliant 18-inch seat height. Caution: Do not use stiff brushes or homemade products to clean or lubricate the valve and seal, as these will damage the seals and surfaces, causing odors to escape from holding tanks. Thetford recommends using Aqua-Clean and toilet seal lubricants.

Replacement for Thetford IV easy to install and fit perfectly. I went from the low to high feature and I was concerned that the cabinet under our sink would be affected, but it opens as well as it had with our older toilet. Good price, fast shipping and quality toilet. A++++

    • It is ok, ceramic is better.
This is better than the older Thetford I replaced, wanting a higher toilet. Higher I got and that was nice. But, the seat is weak and slides off the holders easily. The water rinse system shoots water under the seat. I couldn’t find any way to stop this, until I removed the restrictor from the shower head. Strangely, that fit in the in line and now the toilet flushes nicely. Thetford should offer a way to adjust the flush flow. Otherwise, this works well. The slow close toilet seat is nice.     • EXTREMELY HIGH!
Decided to go with the high rise upgrade from my V model cuz my old valve cracked and it was a bit grungy from having 15 years of heavy use. I am 5’6” with short legs, and this is like being perched up on the highest pedestal ever 🤪 Seriously, I feel like a kid sitting and swinging my feet at first. When looking for a replacement toilet, we found it difficult to obtain information on toilets from different manufacturers in place of Thetford. In the end we figured better safe than sorry and bought this Thetford. Well we ARE SORRY. It's absolutely a piece of junk. I concur with all the other critical reviews. The toilet is defective. I'm a normal man who weighs 205#, in shape and by no means heavy. Heavy I am though for this toilet! The flimsy plastic construction bent during my first use. See photos. The front of the base buckled. Where is this made? No quality control? Given that it seems they are manufactured in Michigan and Europe, with EU HQ in the Netherlands, I am shocked by the poor quality. They should be ashamed to produce such shoddy products. I'd expect this from China, Bangladesh or other outsourced, developing-nation location. Let's see if they stand behind their website statement, "Thetford prides itself on creative design and is committed to the production of high-quality products that exceed the needs of a demanding marketplace.". I want a full refund. Amazon charged a restocking fee of $31!! ... show more

Installed in my 1995 camper and was a perfect match. Everything lined up and connected as it should. Quality seems to be the same as the original and it flushes and performs as it should.
