This is my second time purchasing these floats. I can’t see spending $50+ on an oversized pool float when I can buy the Monterey Hammock Pool Float for ~$10. Mom and I have to walk to our community pool. These floats are very light and easy to carry from condo to pool without having to let the air out and blow it back up every time. My last float is still being used at my sisters pool. These floats are clearly durable and can take a lot of use. And laying hammock style in the pool is perfect in South Florida. I LOVE these floaties. I love the assortment of colors and the ability to buy them in different quantities. What I REALLY love is that they arrive air packed and in a VERY small box. I take these with me every time I go on vacation or a cruise. I inflate them on vacation and then just leave them there for the next guest because they are so inexpensive and they fit so well in a suitcase. I also use them in my home pool and the multiple colors look wonderful and they are able to be used in so many ways. They last incredibly well. I ordered two of these - blue and orange. They're just the same except color. I removed one star because of the price... these are pretty pricey. I paid several dollars less for similar ones (different colors / pattern) at a local chain store and I found absolutely no difference in quality between these and those. They''re even the same brand and in the same box. But if you decide to purchase these for the convenience of having them delivered to your door, here's my review... I purchased these for a six-day long vacation because I needed floats that would be lightweight and pack up fairly small. These are perfect for that. They pack smaller and weigh MUCH less than full-length inflatable floats. I was surprised at the quality and durability... they were excellent about holding air with very little to no leakage. They're also easy & quick to inflate. I used them in pools and also at the beach in the protected waters near the shore. (I am NOT advising anyone to do that... I am just telling you what *I* did.) I weigh about 165 and they held me up well. I never worried about tipping or going under. I'm confident that they'll hold up ~ 200 lbs. with no trouble. Maybe more. I think this is my favorite type of float because I could sit / recline on them but my midsection was slightly submerged. It's much easier to keep cool that way! Also, I find that they are easier to get on and off of than the usual full-length floats. That's just me, though. Your mileage may vary. :) Anyway... Reviews have helped me make LOTS of great choices, warned me about not-so-great ones and probably saved me from wasting money! I try to repay the favor by writing detailed, helpful ones.     • Perfect for a cruise, the pool or the beach!

So me and the kid were going on a cruise, and one of the many, many add on options was renting a floating foam mat at the cruise line's private island for a stupidly high sum of $ for only a few hours' use. There had to be a better option - and THIS IS IT. 1. First off, this raft deflates flat, and takes up very little space in your bag. 2. Even after you inflate it, it's not heavy at all or a pain to drag around the mile-long dock while en route to the beach. 3. You get that nice water flow all around you because of the mesh, keeping you cool and comfy while in the water. Those foam mats can keep water from circulating well to your back when lying down. Yuk. 4. Choice of colors. That was NBD to me, but to the kid, it was everything. She got her favorite color and was super happy about that. No worries about "I don't like the mat color" emotional breakdowns. 5. Even with arthritis, it wasn't difficult for me to switch from a "raft" to a "chair" while using this. 6. Looks pretty well made to me. 7. It traps the air in the cushions well. I popped open the air entryways after we were done, and it didn't want to deflate on it's own. I had to sit on them *and* squeeze the entryways' bases open to get them to deflate. I figure that's good if you are using this in the water - last thing you really want is for the air to rush out if the caps on the air entryways pop open. 8. The kid didn't feel like she was missing out on anything in comparison to everyone else who had a raft. In fact, she was convinced a couple other kids were jealous of her raft. That made her feel better about mommy being a bargain hunter. ;) 9. Nothing stupid/cutesy in the design that will embarrass you while using it. The stripes are classic beach decor - there's no dumb looking animals, silly prints or cartoon characters. and finally 10. Liked them so much I think I'll buy ones for the rest of the fam who didn't go on our "girls only" trip. I'm looking forward to enjoying these rafts for years to come. ... show more
