We use this when we go to the lake with the jetski. It's really annoying trying to pack up a large float that requires a lot of air to inflate and jam it into the front of the jetski. Then you have to deflate and do it all over again. This float only requires air in the top and bottom pillows and is quick and easy to deflate. Also, it folds up into a perfect small square so it saves so much space. I pack it into the side pocket of my beach bag, no problem. These are great for people wanting to lounge IN the water. Half your body is submerged, so it's probably not the best for sunbathers. The pillows have a cloth like covering so they're not slippery at all. And the netting is very comfortable. Both are very durable. I love these floats. We have several, the first I bought 2 to 3 years ago and it's still in great shape. Aqua is a great brand. Just go ahead and buy it.     • Perfect for a cruise, the pool or the beach!
So me and the kid were going on a cruise, and one of the many, many add on options was renting a floating foam mat at the cruise line's private island for a stupidly high sum of $ for only a few hours' use. There had to be a better option - and THIS IS IT. 1. First off, this raft deflates flat, and takes up very little space in your bag. 2. Even after you inflate it, it's not heavy at all or a pain to drag around the mile-long dock while en route to the beach. 3. You get that nice water flow all around you because of the mesh, keeping you cool and comfy while in the water. Those foam mats can keep water from circulating well to your back when lying down. Yuk. 4. Choice of colors. That was NBD to me, but to the kid, it was everything. She got her favorite color and was super happy about that. No worries about "I don't like the mat color" emotional breakdowns. 5. Even with arthritis, it wasn't difficult for me to switch from a "raft" to a "chair" while using this. 6. Looks pretty well made to me. 7. It traps the air in the cushions well. I popped open the air entryways after we were done, and it didn't want to deflate on it's own. I had to sit on them *and* squeeze the entryways' bases open to get them to deflate. I figure that's good if you are using this in the water - last thing you really want is for the air to rush out if the caps on the air entryways pop open. 8. The kid didn't feel like she was missing out on anything in comparison to everyone else who had a raft. In fact, she was convinced a couple other kids were jealous of her raft. That made her feel better about mommy being a bargain hunter. ;) 9. Nothing stupid/cutesy in the design that will embarrass you while using it. The stripes are classic beach decor - there's no dumb looking animals, silly prints or cartoon characters. and finally 10. Liked them so much I think I'll buy ones for the rest of the fam who didn't go on our "girls only" trip. I'm looking forward to enjoying these rafts for years to come. ... show more

These floats are sturdy and much handier than a bigger bulkier float. We took these on a recent cruise and they worked great. Packed easily and took up very little room. Would definitely buy again.

Better to upgrade to a comfy recliner by Aqua. But this served the purpose of hanging on by the back of the catamaran. Plastic feel. Simple, useful. Used a device to inflate so can't tell if it's hard to do so without a device.

Best part about these is the fabric like material on the inflatable part. Not like the really cheap plastic ones! So easy to get on and off, multiple comfortable positions, and they last just as long as the expensive ones. When we got our pool, we spent hundreds of dollars on pool floats, then when they failed we spent hundreds on each float. I ordered these floats before a trip to a resort where we knew we’d want to spend the day in the pool relaxing, and they were small enough to throw in our luggage and cheap enough to leave there. Well, they ended up coming home with us and we continue to buy more. After two years of the first batch, one got a puncture and the mesh webbing ripped. But we certainly got our moneys worth. I’m 6’2” and I fit, (should probably try the longer model), but my 5’2 wife also fits great on them. Weather the tough winters just sitting in our pool box outside. ... show more

I bought two of these to take with us on our trip to Cancun. We loved them because they packed so well without taking up a lot of space in our suitcase. We enjoyed sitting on them in the ocean and bobbing on the waves. They accommodated my husband, who is about 200 pounds and 6'4" tall. We thought they were comfortable to sit on. I have never wanted to rave about a product so much, but these are amazing and I'm so glad I bought them. They were durable but really light. You can deflate them and inflate them easily and they'll pack into your suitcases and pool bags so well. You can float on them a variety of ways - lay down, sit up, lay over them to snorkel. Absolutely the best pool accessory ever. Its compact and can pack up anywhere. We took ours to a lakeside camping trip. Used it as a water chair, lounger and as a swim helper. The inflated ends hold air exceptionally well over the 5 days we had it out at the lake. The rubber plugs are well secured and the inflation valve is one-way. It's easy to get into and stay on and thr mesh netting is very secure. I'm about 150lbs and the raft was perfectly buoyant when I was sitting/lounging around. I like that it keeps me partially submerged in the water while keeping my head and neck supported, I could still wear my full hat and not get it wet. This one's a keeper! ... show more
