I bought this to replace an old goose down that was very lacking in the fill area and well, my washing machine ended up eating the old one and forced me to finally replace it. I like to sleep with no heat in the bedroom in winter time. I bought the winter fill one to make sure I’d be toasty enough as I was moving to Canada. I sleep with a sheet, a thin fuzzy velour like blanket and this goose down. It keeps me nice and warm at night with no heat in the room. The material is super soft, kinda makes you feel like you’re in an expensive hotel room. I cannot believe I only spent $200 on this! I was very nervous to try it at that price point, I thought I was going to get another junky under-filled comforter. This was most definitely not the case. It did not smell, I put it in the dryer for 20 minutes with dryer balls when I opened the package and it fluffed right up. I love it, highly recommend it, and it’s only $200! I can't say enough good things about this comforter. The photos obviously show it inside of a duvet cover, but I tried to take some of the inside as well. After having a nightmare experience replacing the rest of my bedding online, seeing almost 5,000 reviews and close to 5 stars on this item piqued my interest. We ordered the lightweight duvet insert because we live near Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and I am BEYOND impressed. I don't write a ton of Amazon reviews, but this just deserves it so much! Without a single doubt in my mind, this is the BEST quality item I've ever bought on Amazon!!!!! The stitching on the sides is immaculate and sturdy, the corner loops for the duvet ties are strong and plenty large enough to fit a duvet tie of any width, and each side has an extra loop in the middle, in case your duvet cover has side ties or buttons as well. The square stitching really keeps the down evenly distributed throughout the comforter and, with my duvet cover being on the heavier side, the warmth and weight of the lightweight comforter is perfect for year round for us (we crank our AC in the summer, so we'll be fine). I especially love how it looks with our pintuck duvet cover, which cinches in all the right places to emphasize the fluff of the down. 10/10 I would, and WILL, buy again, likely for all of our beds!!! I'm not sure of the authenticity of this goose feather down comforter. It just says 70% down/feather fiber, 30% down/feather, etc. but it meets the criteria I was looking for--fluffiness, light weight, and keeping me warm. I never broke a sweat in a blanket like this before. I guess I won't' be able to use it during warmer days of the year, but am really impressed by the quality. Amazing Comforter!! I just can’t believe I waited this long to get one!! The Best investment ever! I do not dislike anything about this comforter. It’s PERFECT!! I purchased the oversized all season King size one and as soon as I opened it up from the vacuum sealed plastic, it began to fluff up, I didn’t even have to put it in the dryer. It came with the loops in the corner as described to add a cover to it. I added my grey cover sheet just so my dog won’t dirty it. He enjoys it too! It feels like you’re sleeping on cloud nine!! This comforter is like sleeping under a cozy cloud. I didn’t know what I was missing out on all my life using polyester comforters. My dog vomited on this after only one week of use so I promptly had the opportunity to test out how it holds up in the washing machine. Using an enzyme booster and powder detergent, it washed up great and the stain and smell came out in the first wash. I dried it on low and it came out even softer and fluffier than before washing it.
