I’ve had it for almost a year and the screen doesn’t have a scratch. The bevel has small scratches that are only noticeable up close. I’ve smacked it on rocks (natural rock climbing, whitewater kayaking), dropped it on concrete, and smacked on door knobs (all of these several times). I lost my previous watch whitewater kayaking, but this dive band has held strong and not let me down. I have to charge this watch about every 4 days. My previous Apple Watch had to be charged every day or every other day which wasn’t very practical. This is the only Apple Watch with a practical battery life. I’ve taken it snorkeling which made the dive features pretty cool like depth, time under water, and water temp. It’s a little large for my wife’s wrist Whiteheart makes it uncomfortable if she wears it for a long time, so she doesn’t wear hers as much, but likes the menstrual features and ECG. I find it very comfortable. I also love how it allows the health app to estimate your VO2 Max.

I also have Apple Watch 7. The Ultra is amazing with the larger screen and battery can last my usage for 3 days before charging. The diver band is comfortable and convenient to wear. All the hype that comes with it is bonus. The extra button on the left can assign to flashlight or anything useful. It has more features for exercise than I will ever use.

Another top product from Apple. It’s my 3rd model. Battery improved a lot (2x = 36hs), but still doesn’t match the Garmin 935/945 that lasts almost 2 weeks. If you don’t need diving functions, dust proof, prefer a smaller size and not a fancy model, the SE version works perfectly.

Although the Ultra is amazing in its ability to perform multiple functions and is definitely Apples premier timepiece I was slightly disappointed to find out that it’s Dive function which is adequate providing basic information is missing the functions to make it a Dive computer ( btw is why I purchased one for myself and my wife ). Yes, you can download an App to convert the watch to a fully functioning dive computer but unfortunately there’s a monthly / yearly subscription 🤔. That being said I have to say that it’s extremely durable and a quality product 😎👍🏾

I love my Ultra. Bought the bright yellow ocean band. It works great, keeps a longer charge than my other Apple IWatch. Lot's of cool medical monitoring if you need or desire the data.

There are lots of pro reviews out there, and they seem to agree: this is a great device. Large, especially with a small wrist like mine, but not a bother, and the larger screen, the always-on feature, and the large number of "complications" (readouts) makes this a big win.

I did all the same research you did, went for the series five, wore it for a week and realized it wasn’t that much different than my seres three so sprung for the ultra. Bottom line, it does not disappoint. Feels great on my wrist, not too big at all. The features, although similar to the five, are easy to access and use with ease in daily life. Finally, this thing just looks amazing! If you’re thinking about it, pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed!
