Where do you start. While I’ll admit it’s very expensive it’s also extremely valuable. I had a health issue and had shed some weight to bring my blood pressure back down. This watch makes me swim more and workout harder and longer. The ease of use is a plus and size of the screen is fantastic.

I picked up a GPS + Cell iWatch SE last year and fell in love with it. The ultra is an excellent upgrade for someone that gets a lot of use out of a smart watch. Solid construction, great glass (no nics, scratches AT ALL), blazing bright display, larger display makes texting sooooo much easier, and the battery life is just fantastic! I'm getting 2 days with moderate use. Feels great on my wrist (medium/small size wrist). The speakers are a big improvement, especially when making calls. I could go on and on. Zero buyers remorse with this purchase. It's easily the best piece of tech hardware that Apple has launched in recent years. Worth a hard look. It feels almost as well constructed as my Rolex Submariner, and I think it looks great-actually better than expected.

Every review I’ve read and watched online praised this watch but I had many issues with it. For starters, the crown was much harder to depress than any Apple Watch I’ve owned and digging into this more I’ve found that many people mentioned this was a defect and Apple would replace the watch if this was the case. Besides the apparent defect, I found the Watch to be extremely bulky and the action button is a horrible design flaw, in my opinion, being on the opposite side of the power button where it’s a natural depress of the power button for me, and accidentally hitting the action button all the time. The chip is exactly the same that is in the Series 8 (S8 SiP) so this was another ding for this Watch. The battery is excellent, but not almost double the price excellent of the cheaper watches. I would love to see a Series 9 matching the battery spec of the Ultra in the future, or more to the specs of the Ultra (along with slimming this thing down and fixing things I did not like about the watch) before spending double the cost for this thing. It’s a shame I did not come across any of these issues in the many reviews I’ve watched.

To My Disbelief, the second Apple watch (Ultra) is defective, after buying a Watch 7 that was also defective. Siri is always malfunctioning on the Ultra. I called Apple and was told my watch was definitely defective. I spoke with a senior advisor at Apple who told me to purchase directly from an Apple Store. I will be doing that as soon as I receive my credit. Very disappointed with the energy, wasted time, and effort that has been over 10 hours on the phone trying to get the watch to work, along with countless hours to get the Watch 7 to work. I'm done, Amazon. I surrender! Thumbs down for buying an Apple Watch from Amazon. Never again.
