  • Accidentally Became My Town’s Emergency Response System—Thanks, Apple Watch Ultra 2
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Title: Accidentally Became My Town’s Emergency Response System—Thanks, Apple Watch Ultra 2 I bought the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Black thinking it would help me count my steps and maybe gently shame me into walking past a Taco Bell without stopping. I was wrong. So beautifully, powerfully wrong. This is not a watch. This is a wrist-mounted supercomputer forged from obsidian, ambition, and possibly leftover Iron Man parts. The moment I strapped it on, I felt it bond with me. There was a slight pulse, like it was syncing with my DNA. My arm twitched. My Alexa backed away slowly. Let me walk you through a few things that happened within 72 hours of owning this glorious rectangle of sentient aluminum: 1. I fell down a small hill while jogging. The watch called emergency services, airlifted me out, and suggested an orthopedic podcast while I waited. It also alerted my emergency contact, my dog. I didn’t even set that up. 2. I went scuba diving in a pool. Wasn’t deep, but the watch tracked it anyway, congratulated me for “deep water exploration,” and somehow unlocked a new watch face that looks like Poseidon’s Tinder profile. 3. I raised my wrist to check the time and accidentally changed the thermostat in my house, opened my garage, and told my friend I was “on my way” when I wasn’t. It’s predictive. It knew I was going to bail on plans before I did. 4. The battery lasts longer than my motivation to do anything. I’ve charged it once. It’s still going. I don’t even ask questions anymore. I think it’s harvesting energy from smugness. 5. Siri now gives me relationship advice. I didn’t ask, but she’s not wrong. She’s also tracking my heart rate during arguments and gently vibrating when I need to “shut up now.” This watch is so powerful I’m scared to update it. I don’t want it to gain full sentience. It already knows when I’m sad, hungry, lying to myself, or skipping leg day. And it’s beautiful. The black casing makes it look like Batman’s personal Fitbit. It goes with everything, including tactical gear, a tuxedo, or the crushing weight of modern life. Bottom line: This isn’t just a watch. It’s a life partner, fitness guru, crisis negotiator, and borderline deity. If it asked me to join a cult, I would. And I’d close my rings while doing it. ... show more

  • Super cool watch
I do everything with this watch, except I haven’t tried swimming with it yet. It’s almost too smart. It tracks my sleep, walking steadiness. I can answer calls on it or dismiss calls. I’m definitely a big fan.

  • This is so worth it
W WATCH!! Ok I never leave reviews on products but this one is worth it. I got this watch on a great Black Friday deal. I have always loved Apple Watches but have always had an older series. This is my first huge upgrade in 5 or so years from a series 5 and I’m loving it so far. I have had the watch for about 3 weeks and it’s awesome. Style is clean and battery life is awesome while still providing sleep tracking, music streaming, calling, and texting, etc.. I have a smaller wrist but the watch still feels great and I don’t even realize it’s there! I highly recommend this watch and especially when it’s on sale!!! ... show more

  • Phenomenal watch
Love it! Upgraded from a first gen SE and was worried about the size change, but it's not much heavier on the wrist. I was between the Garmin Fenix 7 and the Ultra 2 and ultimately decided on this one because of how much I'm tied into the Apple ecosystem. The complexities of the ultra are just what I need instead of picking up my phone. The battery life is amazing too. First few day of use, my battery was at 82%. Feeling like I'll get 3-4 days of use before needing a charge. ... show more

  • my 3rd Watch since introduction...Great piece of teck
Great piece of tech. Battery life with the minimal face is over 3 days. I can actually leave my phone behind and be OK but without a camera I keep going back to my phone in a day.

  • Great device, just don't try as 2nd device on Verizon
So monumentally frustrated right now. Bought this as a second cell device to complement my Ultra 1 watch, expecting that as Verizon advertises, it's capable of cell service and full device support on their service. Found after more than a dozen hours of support runaround that Verizon cannot set the Ultra 2 as a standalone device on their service, only as Number Share - if you don't have another watch setup for that - or Family Share with reduced app utilization/access, which is not acceptable to me, esp. because I depend on numerous apps for business. They're currently not able to set up any Ultra 2 as a standalone device, despite their claims, which is utterly ridiculous they advertise a service they cannot provide. Nor can you set the Ultra 2 up as Number Share, because then the Ultra 1 won't as a standalone. So, I wasted $750 for nothing, unless I can get one of the other providers to support two Ultra watches. ... show more

  • Durability & long battery are worth it
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 has proven to be a versatile and durable addition to my daily routine. Although my activity levels aren’t as high as they once were, I find its workout tracking capabilities invaluable for my occasional exercise sessions. A standout feature for me is the built-in cellular connectivity. This allows me to leave my iPhone Pro Max at home during runs, providing a sense of freedom and convenience. The battery life is impressive, comfortably supporting extended workouts and lasting approximately two days under standard use. While charging takes a bit longer, incorporating it into my morning routine ensures the watch is ready for daily use. I also appreciate the sleep tracking feature, which offers valuable insights into my rest patterns. However, the watch’s bulkiness is noticeable, especially when wearing clothing with tight cuffs, which requires some adjustment. The customizable Action Button is a convenient addition, offering quick access to frequently used apps like the Workout app. Personalizing this button has enhanced its utility, tailoring the watch to my specific needs. Overall, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 delivers a satisfying experience, combining robust features with user-friendly design, making it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a reliable and functional smartwatch. ... show more
