Love this watch. I know it is the lowest priced Apple Watch but it does (almost) everything I want a smart watch to do and integrates easily and fully with my iPhone. I would like for it to have Blood Ox and Temperature measurement, but the main things are there and work great. I needed the step counter to be easy and total so I didn't have to tote my phone with me everywhere to accurately count steps and estimate exercise. This watch does that beautifully and as far as I can tell, very accurately. It also does a great job of sleep monitoring and tracking, including measuring deep sleep each night. And with the downloadable WaterMinder app (yes it costs $29 for a year but it's worth it) I can track daily, weekly, monthly fluid intake that is customized to the containers I use and the beverage types I consume so it is a breeze to use and thus to track. This sports loop band is the BOMB. It is easy to adjust, comfortable to wear, ok to get wet, and dries fast. Just be careful to not over tighten it. Keep it a little looser than you think. Great band. Easy to change out for a dressier one when you need to, but the perfect every day casual or weekend band. The ONLY negative, as you will read in many reviews, is battery life. There are several online articles on how to conserve the battery that are great. And I bought a phone/watch charger for my desk so when I know I am going to be sitting for an extended period, I fast-charge my watch. As long as I do this each day, I can keep good battery life and I don't miss any steps or any sleep measurements.

My BF wanted to get me an Apple Watch for Christmas. I had a basic digital watch that I liked and didn’t see a need for an Apple Watch. After much dissent, I finally gave in. I must say that I LOVE THIS THING. I’ve seriously lost 6 lbs in the past month because we now go to our local wellness center and walk 2 miles 3-4 times a week. We started this only because our new watches keep track for us. These watches motivate us to get off the couch!!! Plus mine works with my c-pap ap. Now I can actually see the time I spend in different sleep stages each night. I use the watch timer multiple times throughout the day for cooking, laundry, work place purposes, etc. I love the smaller watch face and sports band which both are really comfortable on my tiny little wrists. I like it for phone use. I rarely use it for texts. And the best thing? I’ve never bothered to connect to my cell plan!!! It would only be an additional $5 with my phone plan but I haven’t needed it! Awesome. I’m really looking forward to the time change when I don’t have to struggle with resetting the time on my old watch. lol. As for the SE vs more expensive Apple Watches, I’m more than satisfied with the SE. I hope you’ll be as happy as I am with it.

This is my first ever Apple Watch. I was very excited to get it because of all the fun health features and obviously being able to connect it to my phone through Bluetooth. The watch works really good but I didn’t want to give it five stars because I have one gripe; it doesn’t entirely work well with tattoos. Apparently the light from the watch is supposed to read through the skin but tattoos can soak up that light making is difficult for the sensor to read accurately. I would of returned it but thankfully I have some space towards my hand that registers the watch’s sensor and it doesn’t feel too goofy for me to wear that high, that is the only reason I kept it. Like I said, the watch is great but I was just having issues with the sensor and my tattoos. Pictures show how high I have to wear it. (my watch’s face also has a case on it making it look bigger)

Bought this mainly for calling, messaging, and safety features for my teen without giving full phone access all the time. The watch is lightweight, smooth, and easy to use. I purchased this for my daughter as a birthday present. I wanted her to have a way to contact me whenever she needed me as well as track her location at any time, but she is just too young (in my opinion) for a cellphone. I did a lot of research before hand, and I liked that I didn’t need to use a separate app to text with her - and she could contact 911 from the watch. It also fit her well. The battery life could be better, but that’s really an issue with all Apple Watches and doesn’t stop me from loving my own. I love that I can control the watch and set school time from my own phone - in fact, I was able to set it up with my phone under the family shared Apple accounts. I would highly recommend this watch for those looking for a way to communicate and track their “big kids.”

Needed an Apple Watch for my tween. I waited for Prime Day and got a great deal. It works well. I set up her own number through our cell service and it works well. She can call and text when she needs a ride and I can see her location. It charges and holds a charge well. It looks good and fits well on a pre-teen wrist. Happy so far.
