This is a perfect fit for my iPad and works flawlessly. Love that the keyboard doesn't need to be charged and that is snaps on and off so easily with the magnetic connectors. As far as the typing experience, I don't find it to be as good as my wireless Apple keyboard for my computer or the keyboard on my laptop, but it is pretty close. I've tried several other keyboards from other vendors and while I liked the build quality and cheaper price, the Apple just works so flawlessly that in my opinion it is worth the extra money. I have an IPad A16 (2025) and this solved a lot of problems. The Smart Connector is fantastic since the keyboard is recognized without hassle and no wireless connection or need for battery. This for myself was important because a Bluetooth keyboard would interfere with my Xbox controller and disconnect while playing games on it. This not only fixed that issue but the feel of the keys and the response is excellent. I can type fast on it and the keys register just fine. The only thing I didn’t like is no backlit keyboard and the actual protection of it is not great. It doesn’t protect the edges of the iPad. For a renewed price it’s a high quality product that is Apple and it saves a lot of money. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I just got the keyboard and couldn’t be more impressed. Original Apple Magic Keyboard in perfect condition. Shipping came 3 days faster than projected. Original box and packaging, no dents or dings. Keyboard and back are in perfect condition. Snapped on perfectly and works as intended. So happy I bought this rather than spending over 2.5x as much buying new. I looked at some other keyboards, but didn’t like the idea of having to charge the keyboard separately….just more cords and batteries to track and worry about. Keyboard is perfect and all the keys click nicely…very responsive. If you are on the fence on if you are thinking of taking the chance on a refurbished product, I’d say go for it. I had one of those ipad cases that had a separate keyboard that magnetically sticks to the cover. However, the keyboard didnt stick to the cover as well as I would like. Also I didn’t really like having to worry about charging the keyboard separately. I looked at recommendations and based on my wants it felt like the Magic Keyboard Folio was the way to go. I wasn’t willing to go for a brand new because of the price though. This was my first time with Amazon Renewed and so far so good! I will definitely consider it again should I look for refurbished instead of brand new. The keyboard looks good as new and I am even using it right now. Granted this is my first day. If I haven’t updated this review we can assume that its still going strong. About the keyboard itself Pros -Secure but easily detachable, both the back and the keyboard. -Keys and trackpad feel comfortable and responsive -More lappable that it seems -Easy set up -Feels sturdy like a laptop almost -No need to charge a separate device -I personally like the weight. It is not too heavy not too light in my opinon. Cons -no backlight -does not feel protective (although I workaround this with a tablet pouch and I can easily take the Ipad out and put it in my previous case) -though the white looks nice I am worried if it will get dirty ... show more
