Received my iPhone SE yesterday and, honestly, I had anxiety the whole time I was opening the package, not knowing what to expect from buying a used phone online without seeing it. First things first, it was immaculately packaged! It was placed in a foam little bag, inside of a tight little box, inside of another bigger box. When I opened it, it looked like a brand new phone straight from the Apple Store. Not one scratch, dent, or damage visible. I inspected it very closely and didn’t find not ONE blemish in the entire phone. So I turned it on, and to my surprise the battery was at 100% health! It looks and functions as new. I’m so happy with it! I’ll be using it solely in the house for the next few weeks to see if it’ll hold up the battery health, as I’ve read some used phones show 90-100% only to decline with a few charges. If that happens, I’ll update the review. I haven’t fully set up the phone because it’s a Christmas present for someone else, so if I come to any issues once she sets it up I’ll also update the review. But so far, so good!

With a little hesitation. being retired you quickly learn to be skeptical, I ordered this unit with Kanga Supply as the seller and coming from Amazon. To my surprise I was very surprised when it arrived. My eyes may be aging but I could not see and defect or scratches anywhere even on the screen which came with a protective clear covering and all accessories were included. Set up was easy, the battery life still says 100% and running fine. I've had it for several weeks and all went well. No problem switching the Sim card as well. This was to replace the original Apple SE I have and to go with the Apple SE 2020 I have. The Original was to be given to my wife but come to find out, even though it is in perfect condition as well will not work with the apple watch we gave her for Mothers day so I swapped her out and took back the original and gave her the 2020. Eventually I will come back and shop again with the Amazon renewed premium and look for Kanga and a 12 or 13 mini 256gb. I really like the smaller phones fits into my pocket sweetly. Maybe they'll look into giving me a break on another one haha -- would be sweet, it seems like SSI dollars are not holding their value. One Question, this phone is in Excellent condition and health and a new model --it holds a 1 year warranty but why does apple care + reject covering it? Thanks for answering, maybe you can share how to fix that dilemma which is not Amazon or the Sellers fault. In Conclusion I, as you read above, would buy again from this seller and recommend them and Amazon renewed Premium any day of the week. Forgive the picture its my lousy attempt on putting on the screen protector and too cheap to remove and replace it.

I really hate leaving a negative review, but this is important to know. The good: the phone I received was in mint condition and the battery was 100%. The bad: the phone was listed as Verizon compatible, but it would not recognize the SIM card from my Verizon SE2. Checked Settings and found that the phone was “SIM Locked”. Spent an hour digging on the internet and another 45 minutes on the phone with Apple support and they finally determined that the phone was registered to “Cox Communication” and Apple could not unlock the phone. Took phone to Verizon store (supposed to be Verizon compatible, right?), but they couldn’t help either. Searched Internet again, found customer support # for Cox Communications, navigated their phone tree, finally spoke to Tech Support, but since I was not a customer, they couldn’t unlock the phone either. Called Amazon, initiated return, now waiting for UPS to pick up phone and will now have to wait 4+ weeks for credit to post. Hours spent. Way too much effort for no result.

Had an iPhone SE 1st gen (bought new when Apple was closing them out) and that model is no longer being updated. I had several apps (some that I had to have) that no longer worked at all so needed a new phone. Wanted to see what I could get for around $300 or so. Searched the usual suspects and settled on Amazon renewed, and in this case the "renewed premium" grade. Happy with the price and got a phone in near mint condition that works as it should and has several years left in it. No issues at all and I'm well pleased with the whole transaction.
