The media could not be loaded. I purchased a renewd iPhone Air and saved $147 over new. The only difference between mine and new was that mine had been charged to 100%, 15 times. What's that, two weeks of use before someone returned it? The condition was flawless and I have a one year warranty provided with the purchase. My thoughts: CAMERA The majority of happy, giddy, ecstatic iPhone Air owners are not content creators and think the iPhone Air is awesome. YouTube reviewers depend on their mobile phones to produce video and photos and are not the best judge of the iPhone Air that isn't the very best at producing media. I am not a content creator, but was a professional photographer many years and I am extremely happy with the photos the Air produces. I am retired now and no longer need to shoot in RAW for extensive editing. My previous iPhone 15 Pro took very good photos, but I had to spend time editing in order to back off of the extreme automated processing of the phone's software algorithims. I shot photos at a birthday party at night, outdoors, only lit by string lighting and found the photos to be very natural, not overly processed, well exposed with an absence of grain, even cropping in 3-5x. AUDIO Yes, the Air does not play with stereo speakers. But it is very loud and clear and basically when not using my airpods or using airplay to a bluetooth speaker, it is just fine, no issues. Think about it, how often do you depend on your phone to play loud stereo music? You can always stream to a bluetooth stereo speaker or home stereo or wear your airpods. BATTERY I do a lot of streaming music and podcasts during the day 2-4 hrs worth, receive/answer emails, a lot of texts and take photos and send via iMessage and I'm finding my battery still has 30-50% battery left at 6pm. I don't typically put my phone on a charger during the day and by 6pm I'm ready to eat dinner and relax in the evening so sitting my phone on a magsafe charger stand is an easy way to finish out the day. I did buy Anker's Magsafe power bank that matches the iPhone Air (white) but I've not used it much, more out of convenience because I had it rather than as a necessity. So far I am pleased with the battery performance. It's 3pm right now and the phone has been off of the charger since 7am and there is still 84% battery, without much use though, but that is impressive. DESIGN, WEIGHT, FUNCTION I am enjoying the thinness of the Air, easy to hold, slides into my pocket and the screen is brilliant and easy to see, even in sunshine. I am coming from an iPhone 15 Pro, so the screen is much bigger than I'm used to but it's nice. The processor is very fast and 120Hz pro-motion is extremely nice. WRAP-UP What are the downsides? Without a case, it is very slippery and for that reason alone I ended up buying an extremely thin Aramid case from Pitaka to increase the grip. I wasn't worried too much about scratches as I am very careful with my phones, but now I admit, I can relax alittle and I believe the case actually improved the look of the AIR rather than detracted. There wasn't a reason to upload a phone of the phone, you can see those everywhere.

I ordered an Amazon Renewed refurbished iPhone Air 256GB (unlocked) from Amazon in March 2026. Apple initially released the iPhone Air in September 2025, so any given unit couldn't be more than 6 months old. For that reason I took a chance by ordering a unit in "Excellent" condition, rather than "Premium" condition, for $80 less. (As of a week later, Excellent units are even cheaper compared to Premium units.) The phone arrived in perfect condition. Not a scratch on it. And even better: its battery health/capacity is 100%, which is far better than Amazon promises for "Excellent" condition units ("Battery: >80% of original battery life"). The OS reports that the phone was first used in October 2025, and only went through 7 battery cycles. So, it seems like it's a unit that someone bought new and returned almost immediately. In my experience, these "Amazon Renewed" phones come from a variety of vendors. My iPhone Air came from "T4C We Track Serial Numbers." --Yes, weird name (maybe a warning to buyers who might try to swap phones by returning a different phone?). But they provided a perfect product. As to the iPhone Air, I settled on it after trying a few different phones, including the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the iPhone 16e, the iPhone 16 Plus, and the iPhone 17e. I had always thought of the iPhone Air as a terrible compromise: larger (but not largest) screen, lesser camera, and far less battery capacity. However, I wanted a slightly larger screen than the standard 6.1 inches, and I don't really prioritize my phone's camera. Plus, I also don't use my phone so much, every day, that I need huge battery capacity. So, after finding that the iPhone 16e's and iPhone 17e's screens were too small, and that the iPhone 15 Pro Max was just way too bulky and heavy, I gave the iPhone Air a chance. I found that the iPhone Air's larger screen (6.5 inches), lighter weight, and dramatically thinner frame make it really pleasant to handle for light, everyday use. And the single-lens camera and lower battery capacity are sufficient for my needs. You can put a nice case on it, and it still feels way thinner than any other iPhone.

It’s very thin one thing I did not realize is the screen is bigger than my previous iPhone 16 Pro because of the bigger screen it’s a little harder to text with one hand, the battery life is much better than the reviews make it out to be.

Upgraded to this iPhone Air 512GB and it's easily the best tech decision I've made this year. I was a bit nervous about the "refurbished" label, but this unit is spotless. Checking the settings, it has 100% Maximum Capacity and only 10 cycle counts! It's basically a new device.
