This refurbished iPhone 16 pro came just about as close to the description as one could manage. There are no visible scratches on the screen (pretty important) and the battery life still shows at 100% (also very important). Setup was as easy as it ever is, the cable that came with it seems like a decent quality cable (and it’s worked for charging & CarPlay). My only gripe, and a small one at that, is that there is some scuffing of the finish on the area around the camera lenses (but not the lenses themselves, they’re fine). So, aside from a minor cosmetic issue, this phone has been working perfectly for me (though getting used to not having a home button took a little getting used to, but that’s a me problem)

There was only one Black Titanium 256GB left according to the Amazon listing page at the time I ordered. I had been shopping for about a month and thinking about getting one with the iPhone 17 coming to market; maybe get a price drop on the 16 Pro. I wanted to have the camera features that my old but trusty 13 mini doesn’t have, not to mention a faster processing chip. I bit the bullet and ordered a few weeks ago, all excited. The next day I get an email from the seller telling me that there was an inventory mix up and that in fact there was no black titanium in stock. The seller could replace it with the natural titanium model. Disappointed, because you know how you get stuck on the one you want after paying for it. So, I messaged back that as long as that iPhone had 256 GB and is in “Excellent" condition per Amazon guidelines, I would agree to the switch; the seller quickly responded that it was identical except that it is natural titanium instead of black titanium (I have already put it in a black Otter case so it didn’t even matter what color it was!) I received the iPhone a few days later as scheduled via Prime delivery. My main concern at this point was what was the battery health on this “renewed” phone going to be? It’s my first time ever buying a refurbished iPhone; I have always bought brand new. Amazon guarantees that “excellent” graded phones have at least 80% battery health. This one has 100%! I lucked out. The condition looked about as new as you could get for something renewed. The screen has one very tiny scratch on it, it's faint, and you'd have to be super OCD to be concerned about it. Also, I was really pleasantly surprised how easy it was to transfer my T Mobile service from my 13 to this new one by DIY. Didn’t have to go in and wait forever in the mobile store to do something I can do easily myself. Asked AI how to do it and it was easier than its actual instructions. So far, the phone works amazing especially after updating it to iOS 26. Very happy with this purchase so far. And hey, there’s an 11 month warranty included so purchase with confidence I would say.

SUPER RAMBLY: For the love of all things, if you're like me and you love the SE's physical button, you can ADD a faux one via Accessibility (AssistiveTouch) AND ALSO add "Back Tap" commands. WHAT?! This is AMAZING! The phone itself came in a better condition than described, in my meager consumer opinion. It's massive, which I don't like -- I much prefer the SE size, even with a full LifeProof Fre case on -- but... eh, this will hopefully last the next 5 years what with software updates. I DO like that the Pro does MagSafe charging (although, so did my 2020 SE... it just didn't say it did) and RAW video, if I ever use that. The camera is seemingly not as great as my old SE because it has too many options -- I just like to QUICKLY point and shoot as I'm walking, and this is going to take some learning so I can do that, go figure, especially for having 3 lenses. It is HEAVY, too. But it'll hopefully last 5 years, so, here we are. At least it should have a decent resale value should I ever go that route. It DOES have great connectivity to wifi. I get full cases for my phone because... I do (they still exist! Otterbox took over LifeProof and the Fre style still exists!). That change made the screen be slicker than how it is "naturally," and I prefer the slickness the case's screen protector has. This came with a fantastic battery, but, man this thing really eats up batter power. I'm using my SE for as long as I can, so I don't even have the SIM card in the Pro yet and even JUST hooked up to wifi for 20 min. here and there AND on Low Power Mode, the battery drains FAST.
