I honestly could not be happier with this purchase. Buying a used phone online can always feel a little risky, especially when it is a high value item like an iPhone 16 Pro, but this seller completely exceeded every expectation I had from start to finish. iPhone 16 Pro Amazon Premium Renewed is a Gem The iPhone 16 Pro in Desert Titanium is a slightly heavier phone from any of the previous versions (non max) but the most refined phone yet for us. This marks a handful of times since we’ve gone through Amazon Premium and it delivered for us again with no visible blemishes, with 100% battery life and 1 battery cycle count. (1 cycle =1 battery cycle count of 100% battery drain in a given period). This feature was a new discovery for us, as Apple only began making the cycle count directly visible to users starting with the iPhone 15 lineup. This Renewed Premium unit arrived in pristine condition, offering a high-end feel With 512GB of storage, it provides ample storage making it an exceptional value for those seeking flagship performance without the brand-new price tag. It came with a charging cable (type C-type C), but without the USB-C charging adapter/output. I believe for Amazon Premium Renewed it normally comes with the package but that wasn’t going to be a deal breaker. What Sets the 16 Pro Apart The 16 Pro introduces several meaningful hardware and software evolutions: • Camera Control Button: A new, dedicated tactile sensor on the side that allows for instant camera access and sliding gestures to adjust zoom, exposure, and depth of field. • A18 Pro Chip: Built specifically for Apple Intelligence, this chip handles complex AI tasks locally, which we haven’t taken advantage of. • Larger Display & Thinner Bezels: The screen has expanded to 6.3 inches without significantly increasing the phone's footprint, due to the thinner borders • 48MP Ultra Wide Camera: A massive jump from the previous 12MP sensor, allowing for stunning macro photography and high-detail wide shots. In addition, the zoom feature is amazing, physical 5x zoom and up to 25x digital zoom for photos; videos is up to 15x. Data Transfer Experience Moving 200GB + of data proved to be a bit of a hurdle, specifically when using the standard wireless "Quick Start" method. We encountered repeated connectivity drops and inconsistent progress over WiFi; after a few unsuccessful attempts we decided to opt for a wired connection via PC and ITunes. We used a standard USB-C cable (not the high-speed USB 3.0 or 4.0 variant) • Method: Wired USB-C to USB-C (Standard Speed) • Data Size: ~200GB+ • Total Time: Approximately 3 hours-4 hours There was definitely a significant wait time; although the wired method proved to be reliable, but also requiring a 2 step process, backing data from the old phone to PC then restoring to new phone. A more efficient solution for the wired method is to use the “Super Speed” cables such as USB 3.0 variants or USB 4. Subsequent backups and restorations required a fraction of the time. As of the 3rd week of April 2026, even after a full quarter of heavy use, our iPhone 16 Pro is performing just as smoothly as day 1; the battery health still holds at 100% and the battery cycle is now 120. I feel like a sucker being talked into going to Apple!! I have been an Android girl every since I got my first phone and I should have NEVER changed to iOS. Everyone talks all this stupid hype about iPhone and how great it is and how much better you are if you have Apple but the only thing I've gained is the fact my texts to another iphone are blue.....wow....I'm so impressed. Nevermind the fact that my iPhone constatntly disconnects from my car and I have to shut everything down and restart my phone every single time I get in the car to try to connect it bluetooth.....and most of the time it doesn't work. The talk to speech is so horrible I can't even use it. I have an Apple watch that started out fine but after a month I stopped getting notifications and when my alarm goes off or I get a phone call, I can't control it by my watch. I'll answer my phone and my watch keeps ringing. Same with the alarm, I will turn it off by my watch but the alarm on my phone keeps going. I have tried disconnecting the bluetooth and reconnecting it countless times. I have wasted hours trying to make sure both my iphone and watch are up to date and it makes no difference. Most of the time the phone or watch is "checking for updates" and after 20 minutes says "failed, unable to check for updates", so that's no help. I also have to use a multi-factor security app on my phone to log into my computer at work and half the time I am stuck, unable to start my computer for several minutes because my phone can't open the stupid notification. I never had all these issues with Android!!! For all you people that told me for years "iPhone is way better".... well I have tried both and Apple I can say for sure is crap!! ... show more

It was easy to transfer my apps & data from my old iPhone to the 16 Pro and it has worked flawlessly ever since. I like that this 16 Pro is compatible with Apple AI and will be able to utilize most of the new features in iOS 27. It has much better cameras than my old iPhone. Phone is as expected- no concerns, appears almost brand new. Battery cycle count was 318 and battery maximum capacity was 92%, which is well within what is expected with reasonable use. I had no problems setting it up with my Verizon account. This was my first time purchasing an Amazon Renewed device, and I would purchase again without hesitation. Update: My IPhone in a month and a half is now 93% battery. Seems a bit low. I charge between 20-80%. My iPhone 12 Pro died on me on a trip back home from the beach two days ago. It got stuck on the reboot loop and never could get it out after trying just about everything except the battery change. Made the decision it was easier to go ahead and upgrade, so went with the 16 pro renewed with some hesitation. However, the phone arrived on time overnight and has no scratches anywhere on it. I chose the lowest storage they sell now in desert color. The screen and speed all work well. No glitches or issues getting it set up. The only thing that was sketchy to me is the fact that if you lose your phone or can't access it in some way like I couldn't .. it was super difficult getting past 2 factor authentications with banks and other platforms. So be aware that you should have a different backup should this happen. I don't use a laptop or any other computer outside of my phone and an older iPad. The iPad saved me.. but limited. I waited too long to change battery on this after four almost five years with it. Having said that, it took a whole day but got all my access back to my phone and recovered from the backup. The phone itself has no scratches I can see anywhere on it. Looks and feels new. The battery life came with 98%. The cycles were higher than other people posting here even though I paid for the premium highest quality used phone they had. It has 270 cycles. Consulting with AI it doesn't seem to matter as much. It seems to think the battery percent age maximum is more important. So the 98% is good. So I am pleased with it and now just playing with the new features of ios26 today getting things set up again. Great phone, but software problems.

This phone looks great! It holds 100% battery charge, and had no discernible flaws on the exterior. My reason for giving it only 3 stars is that when I set it up using my old iphone xr to transfer all my data, it never gave me an option to set up face recognition, which you need for almost everything now. Going into settings, the option to do that wasn't even there. That meant I couldn't even reset the phone and start over. So I took another trip the Apple Store Genius Bar (I had exactly the same issue the week before with a renewed premium iPhone 16 plus that I bought from the same seller) and they had to use their magic to erase the phone and help me set it up. This is something they admitted they had never seen before, especially twice in a week. Otherwise, it's a great phone and now that it is set up I am really enjoying it. ... show more
