With all the bad reviews and hate this case has gotten online, I waited for a bit but eventually knew I had to try it out for myself so i got the Pacific Blue version. The color is a little darker than I was expecting but still really nice. I think this case is a good substitute for the leather case as it feels premium to me, i like the soft material on the back and the side material is also great, it feels nice and is very comfortable to hold onto. The buttons are perfect, of course, as you would expect from an apple case. As far as durability, I have had this case for about 6 weeks and it is holding up quite well. There is a slight impression from the MagSafe charger, which is expected and the fine woven material looks a bit worn but not bad at all and not a single scratch to be seen. Maybe I do tend to baby my phone whether there is a case or not so that no doubt has something to do with it. I like how slim it is and it feels completely natural on the phone to where it almost seems like an extension of it instead of something surrounding it like a plastic case often feels (to me anyway). I also got it on sale, not a huge savings but it made it seem worth it to me. I’m even tempted to get another one in a different color because I had a hard time deciding which one to go for…Personally, I like this better than the leather cases just because the leather always felt sticky to me after a couple of days of use and this one still feels nice after only 6 weeks. Time will tell if it continues to perform at the level it has so far. It does also attract dust occasionally, but it wipes off easily enough so its not rally an issue. I recommend this case as long as you are like me and are extremely cautious with your iPhone anyway as it is a slim case and will provide only limited protection if dropped. Still, very happy with this case!

I say this as an Apple fan, this might be the worst product they have ever designed, especially since it is replacing a solid leather case of their own. The quality is very cheap, the fabric is very uncomfortable to the touch, the color is washed out, and the bumper sides don't match. It's also a dir, lint, and grease magnet. I've had it for 3 days, and it's already disgusting. I've tossed it into the garbage and am awaiting the arrival of an off-market leather case.

Unlike the silicone cases by Apple this one feels lighter while offering 10/10 protection. I’ve had it for a month now and it doesn’t have any scratches or dents so far. Very easy to clean and feels great to the touch.

I was purchasing the largest iPhone for the first time, so I thought I would try out a thinner profile case than I had previously used. I thought I would try out Apple's new FineWoven since I liked the colors. For the $60 cost, I was actually shocked when I received the case. The material was okay, but I noticed immediately that it could be scratched. The sides seem to be a cheap plastic. I strongly suspect that the case will only last a few months (at most) before it would need to be replaced. For the premium cost, this case is a shockingly poor value and it is perhaps the worst cost-to-value item I have purchased in a long time. If this was a $10 item, I would give this product four stars. At its current cost, I'm probably being overly generous by giving it two stars.

Not saying you’re wrong if you don’t like this case, but the massive hate it has received has been ridiculously overblown. I suspect some people are just upset that it’s not leather or a leather substitute, which I can understand. Apple’s leather products were very good. But at the scale at which they operate, it makes sense as an environmental thing. Leather is made of cows. This stuff is made of plants. I think it feels nice. The scratches it shows fade over a day or two. See if you like how it feels.

I am not sure what all the complaints are about with these new Finewoven iPhone cases. I think it is much better than leather and - so far at least - more durable than the silicone cases. I do not have any of the scratches or spots others have mentioned. I love the feel in my hand and it has just the right amount of grippiness when sliding in and out of my pocket. If this ever wears out I will definitely be buying another.

I got the fine woven case shortly after launch despite the poor reviews. I really wanted to like it. It was the exact color I was looking for and was initially very pleased with it. I read that it got dirty easily so I was very careful to only touch it with clean hands. Now about three months later it’s already showing its age. There are finger prints on the back and the fabric is wearing away all along the edges. The sides of the case are also showing significant wear. Overall I can’t recommend this case. It is way overpriced for what you get.
