It was received in a well secured 3d party box and came with a brand new lightning charging cable. I purchased this as used but A rated. True enough as described this seller sent me a practical as a brand new unit. The apple software worked like coming from a brand new unit. It automatically upgraded it self to the latest even though it is the 12 mini series. The battery charges itself 100%. I didn’t realize that this is a 12 mini and being a mini is only a little bit over 5” screen size. Nonetheless I have come to enjoy using it transitioning from an android Pixel 4 cell phone. This is a late review of this IPhone 12 mini. In the over 12 months since purchase I can’t complain of anything bad as it has provided me excellent experience. I highly recommend this seller for anyone who wants to buy used but good IPhones if they want to enjoy apple cellphones without breaking the bank.

phone worked great and was in beautiful condition until 3.5 months later battery suddenly died, no longer charges. it would not charge for few hours - day or two, then suddenly comes back to life at 85%, then suddenly dies again. Definitely returning the product, but what a hassle. looks like they used non-genuine apple battery because few days before battery died, iphone suddenly warned me non-genuine battery -- unable to detect battery health & charging. i didn't realize but you can check for that in your phone settings. also, beware buyers even though this is a renewed premium phone, because it's not sold by Amazon, returns are not as easy as drop-off at local Wholefoods.

I bought this phone renewed premium from Amazon's program. I loved it then and I still love it and have it I use it as a backup device. My only issue with it is that I cracked the screen and that was my own fault because I took the case off and dropped it lol. If you are considering buying phones from Amazon's premium renewed service I absolutely recommend it.
