I purchased this iPhone 12 mini as an upgrade for my iPhone SE, which was running out of storage and having difficulty taking photos at night. I have to say, the 12 Mini is an upgrade in almost every possible way. The LED display makes my video games and pictures look so much better, and the A14 processor drops fewer frames. Not to mention reliable and fast 5G connection. My particular example, however, fell a little short of my hopes (though it did meet my expectations). The product descriptions for renewed products specify that the phone will arrive with a battery health of at least 80%, and no visible defects when held at arms' length. My phone has exactly 80% battery health, and a number of scuffs on the outer aluminum frame, which, as described, are not visible at arms' length. As a result, the battery life is actually slightly worse than my SE, and I decided not to get a clear case, so the scuffs wouldn't show at all. Nothing deal-breaking, but just a little reminder that the phone *is* used, so set your expectations and read the description. The customer service was very helpful. I had an issue with the camera part on the phone and when I let them know they immediately responded and offered for me to return the phone and then send me a new one but unfortunately that was not an option because I was already using the phone and I had no backup to use while waiting on them to process a return and send out a replacement. Instead the seller gave me a generous partial refund for this phone to make up for the camera part not being an authentic Apple product. Also beware: the screen protector may seem like a gift but seller is actually using it to hide deep scratches on screen (usually under the black lining of the Screen Protector). Phone arrived in good condition and was easy to set up. Battery life is much better than my old phone that practically lived on it's charger by the end. My only complaint is that the charging port doesn't stay connected to the charging cable. I tried several chargers and ended up having to buy a vertical stand charger so that gravity would keep it in, and ever then it has to be backwards on the stand where I can't see the screen to know how much battery it has. ... show more

Battery life 2 stars. I need a second phone and this iPhone mini 12 is a handy little cell phone. Personally all of the large ones that are sold today run around 6 plus inches in length. This is jusat too big. I see people trying to stick these 6 inch things into their back pocket only to have them fall out on the seat or on the floor at some point. The mini is a sweet little phone. It has a great feel. It's easy to type on. I can't say that it is a better platform than Android.
