This is my first name brand Apple phone case. I’ve had an iPhone 6, 8 Plus and now the 12 Pro. I always just purchased cheaper cases for the previous two phones. I got the 12 Pro right when it launched and I wanted a Mag Safe case, so I decided to shell out the money for this one. I have to say, I LOVE IT! I’ve had it for 3 months now and it’s great! Benefits: - the silicone isn’t “rubbery” like cheaper cases. This one is easy to put into a pocket and dirt/grime/fuzz particles don’t stick to it like the cheaper one I had. - gives the phone a little grip for better handling, but not too much that it takes away from the overall feel - very durable - still looks brand new, no scratches, color (pink citrus) is still vibrant . I’m kind of a klutz, so the durability is definitely a plus. - The “Mag Safe” logo that pops up on my phone and the “click” when the case attaches is surprisingly satisfying - lol Overall, I’m actually happy that I spent the money for this case because I truly feel like the quality is 10x better than any cheaper case (I’m talking like $25 at most, usually under $20) I’ve had in the past! If you need a durable, pretty, simple case and are willing to spend a little more, I highly recommend this case!

The magnet was too weak to hold the phone to the car holder. 6 or 7 months later I noticed parts of the edges on the inside towards the phone (not the outer more susceptible edges) were chipping away in chunks. I called the Apple store and they said this is not considered a defect. But let me just say that as soon as the lady picked up she said she gets her case from Walmart, so she apparently doesn't consider Apple to be of greater quality.

I bought this case in January. Let me tell you that I didn't just want to love this case -- I actually loved it. I loved the hand-feel, I loved the mag-safe, I loved the bright color. I convinced my husband and several friends to buy the same silicone case. Fast forward 9 months and this case is garbage. First, I dropped my phone once in July. My entire back glass is shattered. Fast forward a few weeks and I started to notice cracking around the edges of the phone. 3 out of 4 corners now have cracked and ripped pieces. I haven't been especially hard on this phone or case. And I've never had a case respond so poorly to regular use, or need to be replaced in nine months.
