I needed a phone to replace my iphone 7. The red one was a little cheaper than the other colors, and nobody sees it once it's in the protective case anyway. It arrived a day early, in a white amazon box that included a thick C-to-lightning cord. The phone had a protective film over the face, and both the screen and the case appear pristine without any scuff marks or scratches. My concern over a refurbished phone had been battery life, but the phone indicates 100% battery health. It appears to be an unused phone, just missing the branded box. I was able to add it to my visible account with no difficulty, and it functions perfectly. The price was right, and I could not be happier.

I’ve only just finished set up and tested some features. So far camera works, keypad works, I’m satisfied with the physical appearance and the shipping was fast as promised. HOWEVER, in both the item description (as a premium condition phone) and on the certified premium checklist card included in the box with phone, it is promised to have a phone battery capacity of “over 90%” though the battery health measurement in the phone settings states 83%. I’m not dissatisfied enough with that alone to return, but I would hope anyone reading reviews sees this and knows that the promise of anything close to 90% is not a valid promise. In hindsight, I’d likely take my chances with the standard quality option and not spend the extra money on premium. I have a feeling it’s the same phone quality standard either way and you’re just paying more for verbiage with premium.

Has something that the forums call “zombie screen” where at least finger has to be touching the phone, like the side(s) or holding it so fingers are touching the back and sides with or without a case on in order to use the phone like scroll or touch. If the phone was lying on the ground or a table for example, and you touch the screen nothing happens and if you try to scroll nothing happens. I looked it up and it has something to do with a calibration issue from after they fixed the phone and put back together. The phone was in good shape, only had a little ding on the front top left corner, and the batteries health percentage was at 100% (amazons renewed premium phones guarantee a battery percentage of 90% or better) which means they replaced the battery but didn’t recalibrate it. So I sent it back yesterday via UPS, and I will so happy when I get my refund next week.

I purchased this unlocked phone to replace my iPhone XS. The item arrived in like new condition, battery life was at 100%, no visible scratches or damage. It was super easy to set up and transferred all of my content seamlessly. Once I received my phone, I was unable to port it to my existing service provider (Xfinity Mobile) because, according to them, the IMEI was not compatible with their network. I contacted Amazon customer support and they immediately offered to refund my money, but I liked the phone and did not want to exchange it. They they put me in contact with Apple Support and stayed on the line with me until Apple had answered their line. I ultimately decided to go with another carrier (Mint Mobile) because they confirmed that the IMEI was compatible with their network and they were able to deliver my SIM card virtually, so I was able to use my phone immediately. The problem with my Xfinity was not a problem with the phone itself and I was quite happy that, even though it was not their problem, Amazon was immediately willing to work with me. Could not be happier with the outcome, especially since Mint is 50% cheaper than Xfinity.

Bought this phone for my daughter, great price. Phone was in great condition, no scratches or visible issues. The phone was easy to set up, no issues getting it powered on and logged in. Phone was unlocked. I was able to get it activated the day I received it. Battery life is at 94% which is very good. The box item arrived in was really securable and the phone arrived in good shape. Overall, I added a case and screen protector and every is great. It was more cost effective to buy it on here than through T-Mobile.
