One reason I write a four stars out of five is that the images in the ad make the posts appear larger than they actually are. I am not a fan of AI imagery in advertisements at all. I don't feel you get a true perspective of the product in relation to the environment. However, with that being said, I got an excellent pergola for what I paid for! I do not have thousands of dollars to put into a solid wood pergola, so when I saw this one I jumped on it. It serves the exact purpose that it was intended to do and that is to block the intense sun that we experience in the summer time. I feel this pergola is sturdy for the material that has been used. I feel the instructions, of which are pictures, are easily understood. Although, here would be the other reason for 4 starts instead of five, in that I would emphasize the direction of the holes in the instructions for some of them are bigger on one side than the other. I am very happy with my pergola.

Flimsy!! This pergola is really light weight. The assembly instructions are just pictures. If there were actual written instructions it would be a quick assembly. The canopy is a very light weight material. I have serious doubts this pergola will make it through the summer. I would not recommend this pergola.
