I cannot tell how durable or weatherproof the cover is yet. It is a bit on the thin side but what could you expect for this price. It seems to be like a nylon fabric. The first thing I was worried about is would it fit. I have a typical full size gas grill with a shelf on either side. A 4 burner model. Well, the cover could have fit a BBQ on steroids. There is a lot of extra room. The problem I am having with that is that it is too long. The wheels get caught in the cover if I try to roll it. You have to hike the cover up to move it. For a price of $12 the cover works for me. It has has a silver lining and fits loosely over my 2 burner grill so the cover has less chance to snag on something. I didn't buy something more expensive because my grill is old and I have repaired it twice and it may not last another season or two.
