Our family started playing pickleball at a local park this summer. We purchased this set to see if we like the game. All four of us enjoy it and used the set all summer. This is definitely a starter set…once you play with the nicer, more expensive paddles, you will definitely want to upgrade. These were our first starter set for pickleball. It's definitely useable, but I wouldn't recommend it. The wooden paddles are too heavy, which makes play harder.
