Great little carrying case for both protection and transport. I thought the case would be bigger based on the pictures, but I was still able to find use for it. Don't go based on the picture and be sure to check the dimensions in the description. This was my mistake. It's a pretty good case if you want to make a kit box like I did for my thermal imaging phone camera setup. One thing that I did have to do was glue the foam padding to the case. The foam kept falling out everytime I opened it. I used hot glue because it holds strong and can be easily removed if I ever decide to use the case for something else. All in all it does what it needs to. Not sure how well it keeps water out, but as long as you aren't submerging the case in water, it should be fine as it's not an airtight case. ... show more

This is an inexpensive case and built that way! It is what it is. Nothing fancy, nothing special, just an inexpensive box to house something that will protect an item that is relatively little used. Don't drop a brick on it, don't drop it into the bathtub, don't run over it with any kind of vehicle, it will break or leak or both!
