I am pretty happy with this desk. It was relatively easy to put together. The instructions recommend a two-man team in order to put it together, but I was able to do it by myself. All the tools you need should be in the box. Overall, the instructions were pretty straightforward and easy to follow. The instructions are split into two, depending on if you want the L-shape to be on the left or right side. The desk appears to be pretty sturdy. My computer set up is an iMac. I like that you can move the shelf to sit either about midway or near the bottom of the desk. I placed mine midway and I am using it to hold my geeky trinkets. You can also use the top of the L-shape portion of the desk to store more items. I have my printer sitting on the bottom shelf of the desk near the floor. It does look like the desk may show scratches pretty easily so I may invest in a computer mat to avoid scratches on the desk. I would recommend this desk if you're looking for a decent sized (but not huge) L-shaped desk. I got it on sale during Prime day for like $100. ... show more

I liked that everything was clearly labeled, all the parts came with the order, the instructions are very clear and obvious (just make sure your holes for future steps are oriented properly, but its pretty simple to backpedal if you flipped/connected something the wrong way), and I was able to assemble it by myself. Once you get orientation of the frame figured out, it's a breeze. Just elbow grease and the tedium of lining up screw/bolt holes. No power tools needed. As for the desk itself, the only things I wish it had was drawers, or maybe an extendable tray from under the main desk surface for a keyboard. It is a tad smaller than I expected, but it works for what I needed it to. Like I wish the desk was a little deeper, but this can be resolved with a monitor stand/platform. I love the platform under the corner for the PC tower itself, perfect size for my tower. It does put the USB panel a tad out of reach, but I knew that going in and you could easily just put the tower on the edge of the desk if you wanted. For a little over $100, this satisfied my needs and would recommend for those that needed a semi-simple but functional L-shaped desk. ... show more

The entire shape of the two desk pieces was cut wrong. I had to Bend the metal just to attach the desk and it’s longer on one side so does not make a 90 degree L-shape. My son just wanted his desk for Christmas to set up his new computer so he accepted it the way it was instead of returning it. Not cool, do better ... show more
