    • Great looking desk, but recommend two people to assemble.
This item is a small computer desk that includes top monitor stand, an attached side cabinet that is the perfect size for most home printers and 4 cloth drawers (two at the desk and two in the cabinet). The unit includes a power distribution block that includes a couple 110v outlets and two USB outlets. Finally, the desk includes a USB-powered LED lighting kit and remote control as well as all hardware and tools necessary to complete the job. This desk, once complete, looks amazing. The drawers, being cloth, I will hold my judgement until we are a bit further into using it, but so far, they are holding up surprisingly well. The LEDs are bright and my daughter loves the fact that she can change the colors to suit her mood. The monitor stand at the top is a bit narrow, but most 24-27" monitors will likely fit fine. The desk surface, also a bit narrow due to the monitor stand, is just large enough for my daughter's laptop. Having the power connectors is a great win. No need to run a long extension cord or power strip, this desk just includes what you need. As for assembling this desk, I believe that this is really a two person job. My daughter assisted me with the assembly and I'd have struggled without her help. There are several, very well labeled, pieces, and with the pair of us, it still took just over an hour to fully assemble. Haven't two sets of hands was a big help. Once assembled, it is very easy to move with two people and doesn't feel as heavy as it did in the box. There were plenty of spare parts intentionally included so even if you drop and loose something, there is likely a spare already on hand. Overall, I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a small desk for your child or a gaming type desk for yourself. It isn't overly large and doesn't weight a ton either. I spent a few hours putting this together. Once assembled it looks like a decent desk. It's nothing fancy looking. It's not an expensive looking desk but it looks functional. It looks decent and the price is right. $100 is cheap for a desk. An expensive desk will cost way more than $100. It has 4 drawers and they're made out of fabric. It's not the typical wooden drawers that most desks have. They're made out of fabric and I think they will work pretty well as long as you don't put anything too heavy in them. The 4 drawers are black. The desk is made out of metal and wood. I put it together so the two stackable drawers are on the left side of the desk. The lower desk you can sit your laptop and whatever on. The upper desk you can sit external monitors there if you like. The upper desk has a power strip built into it. There are 3 AC outlets, the usual 110 volt outlets. There are two USB A ports in the power strip so you can plug in 3 things to AC outlets and two devices that charge using a USB A cable. There is a light strip as well. You can select different lighting modes where the lights fade in and out or they blink. You can select several different colors such as pink, purple, red, blue, a yellow orange color. I have the lights currently set to a pink/purple color. I think that looks cool. This is a nice desk, but putting it together was a 2 person job. I tried doing this on my own, but it proved to be too difficult, as it's helpful to have someone else holding the pieces while putting in the screws. You have to make sure you have the boards going facing the correct way, or you won't have it lining up correctly in later steps (and you'll have to undo things like I did). It has cloth drawers, which I didn't think I would like, but they are sturdy and work just fine. I like that it has a charging station as well, as that's very useful. My daughter wanted a new desk for her office and though this one wood work. She put it together and has it where she wants it. The width was perfect. The drawers, the monitor stand, and the light strip are her favorite features.

Pictures look good but that is probably the best part about this desk. When putting the desk together, one of the screws tore up a bit of the wood. Luckily it was on the underside so not really visible(doesn't change the fact I know about it). The LED strips are not very thin and the adhesive is sub par. Double sided tape would probably have been better than this stuff. I do like the fact that the drawers are made of fabric; although, one spill of a drink would absolutely end one of those drawers. Metal seems a bit flimsy and bends a bit when putting a fair amount of pressure to it(like pushing it up to the wall). Maybe you would have better luck at a local retail store. ... show more

The desk is small and compact but very efficient. I like the drawer and file drawer but am not super crazy about them being fabric. Desk is easy to assemble and pretty sturdy and durable once completely assembled. That being said, it is definitely an item you would have to place and leave in one location as I don’t think it would up well to a lot of movement. The metal is sturdy but lightweight and the faux wood are lightweight but again, sturdy when assembled completely. Would work well for a student. ... show more

    • Perfect for a gamer or home office
We love an l shaped desk at my house for maximizing space. This desk is perfect for my husband because he often works on prints from his 3d printer and the monitor is out of the way and the under light gives him extra light for those projects.
