Bought this hoping to use on an upcoming project, but the neighbor had an issue with the removable glass panel on her front screen/storm door. The plastic retaining clips had broke and it was being held in place with tape. I quickly drilled six evenly spaced holes, slipped the correct size rivnut into place and squeezed the handles together. Slapped up six pieces of short metal strips and screwed them into place. I used this tool on an area in a camper where fiberboard was not holding a screw and it was hollow behind. I tested the apparatus on something softer, a cardboard box, so I was sure it would be fine. Worked great. It's holding the table mounts on the interior wall. Comes with a nice case and a small variety of rivets. Only downside is there is no storage for the rivets in the case so they have to be kept separately. Also, there were no instructions in the case or box, but after checking out the video and testing it on cardboard it was fine. ... show more

I've now used this twice installing so far about 40 nutcerts/rivit nuts and love the ease of use i cant say enough how well it works and how much of a time saver it is. I just today install 18 rivnuts in 5 mins or less to mount my jeep fenders.

The media could not be loaded. Great tool and quality for the money. Always use the “socket and impact” method but needed to install 48 rivet nuts 5/16 for caster wheels on some cabinets. Decided to give this a shot. THIS THING WORKED FLAWLESSLY on all 48 NUTS, from the first one to the very last one. Not a single issue, parts feel tight, no funny movements on any components. It made It so easy that all I could think was “WHY DIDNT I GET THIS SOONER??”. Cheap storage case, but It does the job. Compression is adjustable. Overall, very happy with It. ... show more
