Good gripping power on the bottom. Washed it several times already & it still has the gripping power. It's not as thick as our last one, but it's ok. It retains moisture for a while though, which I don't really like.

It suits the purpose and it's soft, but it is certainly NOT High Pile and it's not as thick and fluffy as others on the market. It still does look nice though and it's the perfect size for my double sink counter, so I'll be keeping it.
