AO or American Optical American brand known for its quality. This beautiful, stylish sunglasses have the classic aviator design, that looks good in both men and women. I love how they fit, very fashionable with a lovely vintage vibe. The lenses are just great. I got the Calobar Green lenses and they offer such a clear and natural color perception, along with AO or American Optical is a prime quality American brand, This beautiful, fancy sunglasses have a beautiful aviator design. This design in particular looks good in either male or female. I really like how they look like on me. Very fashion, very stylish. Vintage. The lenses are just great. High, prime quality. Superb. I got the Calobar Green and as described they provide a natural color perception, UVA protection and have an anti-reflective backside coating, ensuring a glare free, sharp vision. The quality of this lenses really stands out and the fact that they are made by an American company is a big plus for me because i find it hard to find domestically produced goods nowadays. Now, lets mention the downside... the frames. Compared to the lenses, the frames are very disappointing. They aren't terrible but they don't justify the price. The frames do not match the quality of the lenses. The sunglasses come in with a nice, fancy leather case and microfiber cloth to keep them clean, which i appreciate but i would be happy to trade those extras for better frames. So overall i am very satisfied with this sunglasses. I will be using them very often, specially since i am sensitive to light and this sunglasses offer nice protection. But i find them pricey.

I ordered these sunglasses through Amazon Vine to give an honest review, and here's my opinion. First, I'd never pay $220 for a pair of sunglasses, no matter what brand they are! The lenses are top quality and a major plus. However, the frames are no better than lower-priced glasses. At the price, I expected spring-loaded hinges and sturdier metal as in my less expensive RayBan knock-offs. The AO Fletcher Sunglasses do include a nice case and cleaning cloth, which is greatly appreciated but doesn't increase the value. My overall verdict is that these sunglasses are very nice and have fabulous optics, yet only average frames. They are way over-priced unless you have an unlimited budget and don't worry about such trivial matters. I will definitely wear them, but wouldn't purchase them.

For the price, I do not feel they are worth it. The material seems thin and very prone to breaking. The bows don't have any flex in them, and I have already had a lens pop out several times. I feel the lenses themselves do not provide adequate sun protection. It is almost like not wearing any sunglasses at all. Aesthetically, I like the way they look, but otherwise I would pass.

They come in a cardboard box with some American Optical branding on it. Inside of the box is two booklets, a microfiber cleaning cloth and of course the glasses themselves inside of a leather case. The leather case is really nice with some subtle American Optical branding. These glasses are lightweight and comfortable no issues wearing them for extended periods of time. The frames themselves are really well made. I love wearing these on sunny days.

The metal frame is easily adjusted with light pressing. As someone with a slender face, I appreciate the ability to bend the frames to my liking. I was able to manipulate the nose pads to settle to my exact preference. However, it’s only fair to admit the full width of the frames is far too large for my female face. I can make do but the glasses do feel bulky and do not sit on top my head well because the arms are too wide. If you have a wider head, that will likely be a non-issue. I love the True Gray lenses! The world looks crystal clear on a sunny day. No eye strain thanks to 100% UVA/UVB protection. The lenses are not polarized so I am able to clearly see my digital car gages and head’s up display. Recommendation: I am pleased with the overall high-end quality. The lenses are fantastic, lightweight, and clear. I like oversized glasses but the frames are too large, despite being described as suitable for “more female faces.”

These glasses fit perfectly and are completely adjustable. I think they are really a pretty neutral frame. They might not work as well for a smaller head (my 15-year-old tried them on, but they did overwhelm his face). All of the adults in my family really liked them! They have a lifetime warranty on all solder points and manufacturer's defects as well. The tint is just perfect to be in the sun for hours without any eye strain. I really love these and will continue to wear them. Highly recommend, I hope that this helps.

These glasses will come in an incredibly underwhelming box; clearly they don’t view packaging the way Apple does. That’s unimportant, but worth mentioning as it’s a little off putting given the steep price tag with these glasses. They do come with a nice leather case and a microfiber cloth though. As for the glasses themselves, they’re nice. The lenses themselves, I think, is what makes AO a brand that’s survived as long as they have. They’re very nice lenses. The frames are a little underwhelming in my eyes. I like a frame with spring loaded hinges. These don’t have that. They’re just a very simple, but fairly nice otherwise, frame. I’ve had much cheaper glasses though, that in my opinion, have better frames. That said, those cheaper options have far inferior lenses.
