I've been searching forever for a good looking basket to replace the big milk crate my dog rides in. He is only 15 lbs but has long legs and a long back - making him about 18" square looking from the side. This basket gives him plenty of room to sit and doesn't hit my back while riding. It doesn't come with a pet strap - but I easily made one with some web straps I had lying around. I just run the strap thru the basket and bike rack - and thru the chest part of his harness and snap the buckle. He can move from side to side but has to keep his body inside the basket. I took one star away from Mounting system and easy to install because I struggled with it - even though I'm very good with mechanical stuff. I needed extra hands to hold the bolt while I put all the required washers etc on the bottom of it. Finally got it though and it seems sturdy. I think a couple bolts are missing lock washers that fell off while I was putting the butterfly nut on - so I'll add some blue loctite to those and keep an eye on them. ... show more

I have a Rad Power bike. Their large basket is hardly ever available. This basket can squeeze in 2 bags of groceries and is sturdy. The liner has reflective elements on both sides which helps aid visibility. I secured my basket with zipties and it's very secure. I also like that it dips in the front a bit because I'm a shorter rider. Good value for the price. ... show more

My wife used this basket on her bike for about a month with normal use, all of the welds that hold the basket to the frame randomly broke during a bike ride. We tried to contact the seller via the website provided and it doesn’t exist.
