This antenna has made the anxious anticipation of the automatic car wash so much better. I felt like the long factory antenna was going to break off or swing back and smack my windshield. This thing barely moves and even if it bends, it is coated so nothing would be damaged. I don’t really listen to am/fm radio, but I turned it on just to test it. Seems fine to me. No noticeable degradation in reception or sound quality. Also, it screws right on to factory threads. Installation was a breeze. Looks great and seems plenty durable. So far so good.

Finally! I've bent and destroyed about 4 antennaes and 2 broken channels. This new antennae works like a charm, looks great without that long bendable antennae crap and brings in the signal like it's supposed to. Looks sharp on black superduty

I like it way better than the factory antenna. I cannot notice any change in FM reception.

Looks good, and gets very good radio reception. Most people may not care about the radio reception, and buy this just for the look, but this antenna works as well as the OEM--just in a smaller, better looking package. This is the second antenna I've purchased, and the quality is consistent. The fit and finish, as well as the ease of installation were the same. Would buy again for a different vehicle.

I ran a test of this antenna against the existing truck OEM as follows: with the car parked in the driveway and the original OEM antenna in place, I ran the radio seek function for both AM and FM stations. I then replaced the OEM with "The Original" and ran the same seek process. I live in a small valley against a hill in the SF Bay Area. "The Original" found 94% of the AM stations and 41% of the FM stations compared to OEM but I was able to manually tune into the few stations that I cared about that were missed. This performance was acceptable to me, especially when I tested another popular stubby antenna from another manufacturer that was only able to lock on 28% of the AM stations and a mere 8% of the FM stations.

I cover my truck during the week. The factory antenna was getting bent and staying in that position. This one works well with my cover and have had no signal issues.
