This is a great handle that easily fits into the latch of the car door to provide assistance to people getting into or out of the car. The design looks as though it should fit pretty much any car latch out there - it slips into the latch of both our sedan and small SUV with no problem, and can be used on the driver's door, the passenger's door, and the standard car/truck/SUV back (second seat) doors. The metal bar simply slides into the latch, leaving the contoured handle in a horizontal position, so that it can be use to push up from if needed. We found that, depending on the direction you insert it, the handle can point back to front, or from inside towards the outside of the car. You may find one of these positions easier for you to use than the other. You'll want to insert the metal bar fully into the latch. This makes the handle secure and steady. The metal bar comes to a point at its end, making it a useful tool for breaking a window or windshield if you're ever in a situation where that is needed. This is a simple device that is easy to use and that can provide so much assistance, and at this price point, it's a really good value. ... show more

I have a bad leg due to a car accident a few years ago. I have trouble getting in and out of my SUV occasionally. This is perfect for me to get in and out. It's small and very sturdy. I just leave in the side of my door and grab it whenever I need it.
