I'll start by saying I'm NOT a sweater person. They make me hot and feel constricted! Several of my friends have this sweater and convinced me to try it and - I love it! The fabric is soft and warm, but still thin enough to not make me overheat. The fit is loose and flows away from the body, which also helps heat release and definitely does not feel constricting. I'm usually a L or XL and I got the L and there is PLENTY of extra room. I thought about returning for a M but decided I like the oversized feel. I've washed it once so far and it does show some pilling which is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Pilling is mostly happening on the forearms where your arms brush against your sides while walking.

It's soft, it's cozy, it's oversized (depending on how you feel about that, maybe order a size down). The assymetric hem and the batwing sleeves are what separates this from every - other - oversized - sweater. It hits about the waist in the front and below the butt in the back. The description may call the sleeves "batwing" but, they're really not. The neck is a really pretty rib that is also flattering and not constricting. I mean, realistically, how many off-white oversized sweaters does one need? (Mine is pale apricot, which is just another way of saying, tell me you have an off-white sweater, without telling me that you have an off-white sweater.) You need this one. And, it goes with everything, from leggings to dress pants to skirts (maxi and mini). It can do casual, it can do dressy. It also comes in a ton of colors. (31, I think.) It's $43, and, honestly, I had to think about it before I put it in my cart. For me, that's a little pricey for a sweater. But, I'm glad I purchased it and would certainly purchase another one, after I wore the heck out of this one. A warning from someone who is not big on personal contact: People will find reasons to touch this and, by extension, you. It is that soft and cozy.

Love the sweater! So thrilled that it fits well..XL is roomy not huge and the knit is very soft. Mine is a turtleneck and sits right where it should, not tightly which I am pleased about. I did not detect any odor right out of the bag. As noted by another reviewer, the sweater came in a clear plastic bag with the contents visible. Despite that I will order again. I purchased black as a trial and want the navy blue as well. Recommend.
