Description said it was wool and another spot said it was cashmere. I’m pretty sure it is not cashmere as it feels like plain old wool. It is a bit scratchy The fit of the sweater is really nice and the construction looks good too. The price is great and I’m happy with my purchase overall, but the rating lost a star because it said cashmere and it clearly is not.

I am 5'10", about 160 pounds. I bought this in a medium and a large. The large fits like it does in the product picture, so a more relaxed style. The medium was my suggested size from Amazon. This fits as well, but in a more tailored type of way. I will keep both sizes. The sleeves on both sizes are long enough, which can sometimes be a struggle for someone my height. The material is soft for a wool sweater, only slightly scratchy, but it will soften up with use. The material is a nice weight. It is thick enough to be warm but thin enough to be a little drapey. It is not a stiff wool at all. I bough it in the green and the khaki. Both colors are nice and accurate to the photos. I will most likely buy a few more in different colors. This is a great addition to a New Englander's wardrobe, I'm sure I will be wearing then from the end of October to the end of April.

On the upside, it’s a lovely sweater and very comfortable and soft. Will have to see, as the weather gets colder, how it actually holds up! It seems to run a bit small, but still fits. My only criticism is that the blue is so incredibly saturated that it looks black. I had to really look, try it in different light, and next to several other colors to see that it was actually blue.
