It's quite, small and handles More power than my last one. However with the same motors it gets half the steps per millimeter as my last one and you'll need to keep in mind wire shielding and by a ferrite choker/bead the data cable is unprotected. Honestly the worst thing about it is trying to find info on it or anyone else who's used it. I haven't given up on it yet but that's only because I've built a custom case to hold and cool it with filtered air. I live in California, I am an engineer by trade, and do a lot of CNC, 3D print, Laser work. I have bought a number of things from Annoy Tools, including this GRBL board, the 3018 CNC machine with 3040 upgrade, and Cloud L10 Laser Engraver. All of their products are high quality and "over built", they are on par with some of the brand names (xtool etc) charging up to 3x as much! And I have found their customer service to be responsive and very knowledgeable. Did you know this company is the actual manufacturer? Some other companies use their parts in their products!     • Challenging to set up with no drivers available.
Google drive link in the "manual" is dead; ergo no drivers or documentation on jumpers to set micro-stepping. Doesn't appear to be flashable.

    • I'm sure it's great but what's the point when no software drivers exist for it?
Bought this to replace my old board that looks very similar to this one. I guess this has a newer microcontroller running it, which could be a good thing, except it's impossible to get it to work with a computer because there's no software drivers available that support it.
