We love these figs, enough so that I ordered for the third time recently - 5# each time. These taste firm, sweet, a bit chewy, all exactly what a dried fig should taste like. Yes, there are a few "brownies" that are tough to chew, fair enough, but we eat them anyway. These haven't lasted long enough in our household to test them for longevity in their sealed bag...but the big plan should they last too long is simply to freeze them and make jam of them...so no worries, we can do that, too! All in all, an excellent product at a goodish, fair price. The quality is good. No weird dried fig. Good tasting. I will buy again. Update 2024/07/11 This time, I had encountered two figs with grains of sand of different sizes. On one, I had found wood fiber. It might be from a branch of a fig tree. Very disappointing.

these have almost no flavor and are dry and tough a total waste of money and they can not be returned i was told also some have some kind of sand or grit on them
