I eat figs every day. These are the first I have gotten on Amazon, and they are soft and large and taste really good! The small stems are usually not soft enough to eat, but that is not a problem. I think you will be pleased.

I normally don't write reviews but I was disappointed on my 5th purchase. The first 4 bags were excellent the 5th one had issues. 1/3 of the figs had a sour taste. Didn’t want to make it public so I emailed the company with the same information. They replied with no explanation no text at all just a flyer with 15% off my next purchase. I was not impressed too say the least. It’s not that I’ve purchased 25lbs of figs I’ve purchased other items from this vendor and everything was excellent I just expected a better response from them. Obviously there was an issue with that one bag.

Not sure what to make of these figs. Certainly superior to what Costco sells. Excellent flavor, not moldy, consistent decent sizes, reasonable priced. We are enjoying them and would overall recommend them over anything else we've tried online despite the concern expressed here. The only disappointment is that they seem dry: the skin is a little tough, a few are dry enough to be cracked open, and consistent with them not being very moist on the inside (very chewy). Now I'm suspicious that they are warehoused for a very long time, seemingly years, as in over 6 years. Please tell me this isn't true!! The label printed directly on the package gives the lot #, and what looks like the date "1-11-2018" (am I wrong?), as well as the "Best by 05/2025". The paper label has the 05/31/2025 date.
